Grandma

Alexander Monroe woke up excited for the day's excursion. He hurriedly went to the office looking forward to going home at lunch. 

His Secretary George stood at the side and observed his boss wondering if there was any occassion. He had been working for CEO Monroe for almost 45 years. He had memorized all of the important dates for anniversary, birthdays, and holidays. He tried to remember there was a holiday or occassion he forgot. 

"I am going to take my grandchildren shopping today" CEO Monroe stated looking at his Secretary. After 45 years they were so familiar with each other he understood the invisible question his secretary wanted to ask. "Now give me those papers the faster i finish the faster I could go home" 

Meanwhile in Emerald Garden the twins just woke up. It was around 10am and the two held hands as they walked down the stairs. They were guided by Butler Wu to the dinning hall. 

When they arrived at the dinning hall they were welcomed by Auntie Mai. Lilian looked around and saw that they were the only ones there. 

"Where is grandpa and daddy?"She asked as she was lifted up and seated at the chair. "The master and the young master have already went to work young miss" Auntie Mai explained. 

Beside her Alec was also seated as he looked at the dishes his eyes beamed with happiness. They were some congee and some different types of dimsum. He held his chopsticks and took one dimsum and began to happily eat. 

Auntie Mai stood beside them offering them dishes after dishes. It has been a long time since she took care of someone in the Bai Residence since the master, the madam, and young master have been busy with work. 

She was excited to be able to take care of this two in the future. She hope they would bring laughter again in this old house. 

As the twins happily ate there breakfast the door suddenly opened. A woman in her late 50's walked in. She was wearing an elegant lilac dress. Her long hair fix in a braid and she wore a gentle smile. 

"Auntie Mai good morning" the lady greeted as she sat. She looked up at the twins "and who are this little cuties?" she curiously asked Auntie Mai. 

"Good morning Madam this are....." Auntie Mai started to explain from what she heard from Master Monroe and the young master last night. But before she could finish Lilian guessed the identity of this beatiful lady. 

"We are Lilian Monroe and Alec Monroe pretty auntie,  we are Alphonse Monroe's children. Nice to meet you pretty auntie" Lilian introduced themself with Alec nodding beside her. 

Madam Monroe or Sofia Monroe eyes widen with shock. She stared at the twins and observed that the little boy and girl infront of her did looked like the young Alphonse. 

"Auntie Mai can you please get me a glass of water" Madam Monroe requested still in disbelief. 'I was just gone for 3 days' she thought. 'What the hell happened!' 

After drinking the glass of water she looked at the twins again. She felt herself calming down from her shock but anger was slowly rising she couldn't wait until Alphonse arrives home. 

Looking at the twins she guessed that they were about 4 or 5 years old. Most of their features were the same as her sons. The dimple, the eyes, the shape of their faces. 

"Lilian and Alec what pretty names" she commented "How old are you sweetheart?" she asked. 

"We are 5 years old pretty auntie" Xiao Xiu commented "Pretty Auntie what is your name?" she added. 

"My name is Sofia Monroe sweetheart but you can me grandma since Alphonse is my son" Madam Monroe smiled. 

"Can we really call you Grandma you look so young and pretty auntie" Alec commented shock that this pretty lady is their daddy's mother. When he realize what he said he becane a little bashful and his cheeks slowly redden. 

"Oh how cute! this pretty grandma just wants to bite you two" Madam Monroe commented standing up and walking towards the two pulling them in an embrace. 

She felt her anger slowly melting away.  She always loved children and if she could she would have a bundle but she was only blessed with two. 

Madam Monroe hugged the twins tightly pulling them out of there seats. Just then the door opened again and this time it was CEO Monroe. 

He stopped in his tracks as he saw the scene in front of him. His wife had one twin in each arm hugging them tightly. 

'The cat was out of the bag he could only pray for Alphonse when he gets home' CEO Monroe thought but he shrugged off his worries as he remembered that Alphonse dugged this hole himself.
