Chapter Sixty-Five

Waiting felt like a drag, and it was that period of time when the body would realize the exhaustion that it should’ve felt by now, and she really did feel the exhaustion even when what she did was only wait.

They were already inside the hospital room, waiting in silence for Ngel to have consciousness.

There was a huge bandage wrapped around his head and part of his arms. There were also wounds and bruises all over his body, especially his face, but the doctor said that none of those were lethal. They said that he was lucky he was in that part of the accident where he didn’t receive that much of an impact from the colliding cars or else, his body wouldn’t even be in one piece, just like what they said to the two unfortunate victims.
