Chapter 2

"Why didn't she wake up too? If anything happens to her, I will sue you!”

Lucius was fuming with worry himself. Everyone there fell silent.

The person in white let out a short breath from his mouth.

"If you don't believe me, find another doctor, Lucius." Wilson looked at his friend in annoyance, he was called suddenly to check the condition of the body of a woman who he did not know who this was.

But seeing that Lucius cared so much about her, maybe this woman was Lucius lover.

He frowned. A goddamn man like Lucius never had a girlfriend, he always took one woman and then replaced her with another, ate her again and kept changing her. That's Lucius habit.

"You're very talkative, Wilson. Anyway, if something goes wrong, I will sue you.”

Lucius looked at Wilson with an angry look, he cursed again and Wilson was used to it.

Lucius a beautiful name with a meaning that seems to have purity. But alas, his demeanor is different, he is like the devil and often does whatever he pleases. Oh, let's remember, he once hit someone in the jaw because when he was talking, the person chuckled, he also once crashed his car on a man who spat at him, for women, he often played with them.

Most amazingly, people still think this damn Lucius is evil.

Wilson himself knew how charismatic Lucius was, he was handsome as well as envious, he had an incredible body, and he was also rich. Yes! At the peak of that fortune, he was a very successful business with an incredibly great family. It seems that success goes straight with his evil attitude.

"She will come to her senses, she is exhausted and cold," Wilson spoke again, he looked at Lucius, who seemed to have horns on his head.

"You kidnapped her?" asked Wilson. "It's a pity that this woman is in the hands of a demon like you..." Wilson added quietly.

"What do you mean?"

"No," Wilson said quickly with a small smile.

"I didn't kidnap her, she passed out on the street."

Wilson stared suspiciously, his face contorted with narrowed eyes. Ah, just who is Lucius? He wasn't an angel who would take anyone who fainted on the street to his house, treat her, and worry about her.

Strange, of course, very strange.

"You know her?" Wilson asked cautiously, afraid Lucius would spit on him again with rage.

Lucius nodded his head slowly, he held Riley's hand and looked at her worriedly.

Wilson loosened his facial muscles and touched his chin, he might have seen something different. Very different from before, and of course, it's a new thing.

Lucius had feelings for this woman. Wilson glanced at Riley and studied her. Riley was a beautiful woman, the earrings she was wearing were natural diamonds. Don't know who this woman is that she will end up needing a demon as cruel as Lucius.

"She'll be awake in a minute, Lucius." Wilson put in his equipment, placed the necessary medicine, and gave a waiter a prescription to pass to the pharmacist.

"Lucius, don't toy with this woman."

Lucius grunted harshly at Wilson's rambling, he saw Riley's face. She was the only woman he couldn't play with. He appreciates Riley and always holds himself for Riley, who has lived this happy life.

Her smile for someone else made him sick, but he held himself back from pulling Riley to him. He always stayed away from Riley. Contrary to his attitude, he didn't force his will on just Riley.

But... Why is Riley crying today?

It took him by surprise.

All this time, Riley was always smiling. It made him think of many things in his mind that had been filled with other heavy items.

"Don't talk too much, Wilson. You know nothing, and go and hope Riley wakes up soon."

A piercing cold voice made Wilson shudder and decide to leave this room immediately. He quickly left Lucius house, and Wilson's brows knit together in the car.

"Riley...? Somehow, that name feels familiar to my ears….”

Wilson thought it over and over in his mind, but he couldn't find the answer and he started his car to do some other work he had left behind.

"I don't know, I'll find out later."

Wilson stomped on the gas pedal in his car, and the car went pretty fast with soft music.

Inside the room, Lucius was still watching over Riley with great care. His maid had changed Riley's clothes. When he arrived at his house, Lucius immediately ordered the servants to change Riley's clothes, turn on the heater, and was always fussy about things. He was afraid that someone would hurt Riley later.

“What happened to you, Riley?” he asked in a low voice, he noticed Riley's face. There was no expression and they still looked pale.

"You can't live in sadness, you must always be happy, Riley."

Both of Lucius hands gripped Riley's hand, he kissed it gently while hoping Riley would open his eyes.

After waiting thirty minutes later, Riley opened her eyes quite hard, it felt like her eyes were swollen because she was crying so hard, and her body felt warm and comfortable. When she had managed to open her eyes, she saw a different room to her.

Her head hurt, stabbing until she had to hold her head.

"Where am I ...?" she asked weakly.

"You're in my room." A male voice made Riley's attention immediately change, she looked at Lucius with narrowed eyes.

"Who are you?"

The question made Lucius heartache, he was disappointed and also felt that his existence was very unimportant to Riley.

“I am Lucius, the one who took you when you passed out on the street.”

Riley exhaled from her mouth, then she realized that the clothes were different, she panicked and looked at Lucius roughly.

“It was my maid who replaced it.”

Riley quickly accepted it.

"Where's my bag?" Riley asked, more prominent than before.

Lucius gave Riley her bag that was on the table, Riley immediately took her cellphone in her bag, turned on the cellphone, and saw dozens of calls from Mike. Riley didn't care about that and called the driver.

“Pick me up now,” said Riley looking at Lucius.

“Stardom hills, 04 G,” Lucius said, understanding Riley.

“Stardom Hills, 04 G,” Riley said exactly what Lucius said.

After the phone line was cut off, Riley sighed again with overflowing frustration.

“I'm Riley. Thanks for helping me, Mr. Lucius. I will compensate for what happened."

Riley spoke in a low and polite voice, and Lucius smiled.

“Okay, give me your number, Riley.”

Riley raised an eyebrow, she was confused by Lucius words.

"To talk about the compensation issue earlier."

Riley nodded in understanding, she immediately said her number and Lucius kept it with a smile.

He could have gotten Riley's number some other way, but getting it from Riley himself had a different feel.

Now that Riley was ready, she was waiting for the car to pick her up.

But how surprised she was when she saw that the one who picked her up was Mike, Lucius who saw that watching from afar, he saw something unusual between them.

"I don't want to go home with you!"

“Riley, we need to talk about this with a cool head,” Mike spoke while touching Riley's hand.

"Not!" Riley pulled her hand away, she backed away until she hit Lucius sturdy body.

“You go straight to another guy when we have a problem?” Mike spoke with a smirk that hurt Riley.

"We're getting divorced, divorced. Just enjoy your relationship with Jason!”

"Riley!"

Lucius smirked while touching his lips at that. He didn't expect something like this to happen, the chains that had been attached to him had been completely untied.

He stared at his prey with an incredible palpitation.
