It was the next day and I was in my room, staring out the window, waiting for my friend Evie to arrive. I had invited her over to the mansion, and I couldn't wait to catch up with her.

But as I gazed out the window, I saw Drew, leaving the house. I couldn't deny to myself that I was attracted to him, and I could sense that he felt the same way about me.

But we had never acted on our feelings, on my own part it was partly because of my contract marriage to Cullen and I guessed the same reason went for Drew too.

Only that he never knew my marriage to Drew was a contract.

As Drew walked past the window, Evie had just pulled up the driveway. Evie had a crush on Drew ever since she met him at my wedding party, and I could tell she was going to be shamelessly flirting with him again.
