Kalalabas lamang ni Angelika o Geli sa kanyang opisina at binabaybay ang kahabaan ng C5 papuntang BGC para puntahan ang kakambal na si Angelo o Gelo. Mainit ng ulo ni Geli at mabuti nalang at perfect ang Korean food na inorder ng kanyang butihing secretary na si Melody. Lahat nalang inaasa niya dito at kabisado nito pati cellphone number niya, ng kapatid niya at ng mga magulang niyang si Angelou o Lou, kanyang mommy at daddy nyang si Simon. Hindi niya nagustuhan ang pinag usapan nila ng daddy niya this afternoon. Gusto niyang magsisisigaw

“Gelo, ba’t hindi mo sinasagot ang calls ko?” Asar na tanong nito sa kapatid.

“Ate, ano ka ba? Wrong timing ka naman...” Naasar din si Gelo sa kapatid niya sapagka’t he’s currently making out with Juliana Barbados, isang sikat na actress.

“Gelo, I’m on my way there. Kung sino man yang nasa pad mo now, you better tell her to get out. This is very important. We have to talk.” Geli immediately hangs up.

Ate ang tawag ni Gelo kay Geli becaue she’s two minutes older than him. Sabi ng mommy niya ay pilit na inaabot ng maliit na kamay ni Geli ang nasa sinapupunan pang si Gelo dahil mas nahirapan silang ilabas siya kaysa sa ate niya. Kahit sa ultrasound nila ay magkahawak kamay sila kaya’t kahit pa nakakaasar si ate Geli niya ay hindi niya ito kayang i-defy.

“You should always listen to your ate Geli because she knows what’s good for you and for our family.” Laging sinasabi niya i’yon sa kanya ng mommy niya.

“Babe, I’m sorry but you have to go. I will call you.” Nginitian nalang niya si Juliana na kinakitaan ng pagka inis.

“No, Gelo. Don’t call me and I won’t call you anymore. You’re a shit! You’ve wasted my time!” Dali daling nagbihis ang magandang actress at lumabas ng condominium at sakto namang nakasalubong nito si Geli.

“Are you having an affair with that Juliana whatever?” Sarcastic nitong tanong sa kapatid na nagbibihis.

“Barbados, ate and no. I am not having an affair with her. She’s just a friend.” Nakangiting nakatingin ito sa kapatid. Guwapo, bachelor at matalino kapatid niya ngunti saksakan ng hilig sa babae.

“Mag-iingat ka diyan sa friend friend na yan, Gelo. You might get sick.” Nag-aalala ito sa kapatid. Ayaw niyang nagkakasakit ito sapagka’t mahina ang immune system nito compared sa kanya.

“You have to always look after brother, Geli. Sa inyong dalawa mas mahina ang body resistance ng kapatid mo.” Lagi itong sinasabi ng mommy niya sa kanya kaya’t kahit pa lagi siyang nagta travel all the way from Ortigas Pasig to Taguig BGC to check her brother ay gagawin niya i’yon.

“Don’t worry about me, ate. I’m always protected.” Napapangiti nalang ito sa attitude ng ate niya. Eversince na naging independent silang dalawa ay lagi na itong nag chi check sa kanya. Nakatira sa Antipolo parents nila kaya’t sila lang dalawa ang nagdadamayan because they have to take care of their family business sa city.

“I came here because Dad just talked to me about marrying Adriel Costas Montefalcon, III.” Nakakunot ang noo ng kapatid.

“What? Is he serious? Adriel is a notorious womanizer.” Gelo was shocked by the news. He’s not thrilled with the idea na magiging brother in law niya si Adriel.

“That’s it, my dear brother. He is a womanizer and I don’t want him to be part of my life – our family. Besides, I don’t love him.” Stressed si Geli sa idea na magiging wife siya ng isang well known rich bachelor playboy.

“Pero you’ve already met Adriel, right? Did he court you?” tanong ng kapatid.

“Yes, I already met him. Pumunta siya sa bahay natin sa Antipolo with his dad. That was last year. Hindi ka sumama nuon kasi me business meeting ka with the sales team. And yes, he courted me in a way. Pahaging lang. He wanted to but he did not continue.” Sagot nito kay Gelo.

“And did you go to bed with him?” Derektang tanong ni Gelo.

“No, of course not. Yes, I admit I went out on a dinner date with him. That’s all. Nothing happened. We just talked mostly about business and some trivial stuff.” Sagot ni Geli.

“So, what do you think of him?” Tanong uli ni Gelo sa kapatid.

“Honestly, he’s intelligent. He can talk anything under the sun and he’s a no-nonsense type of guy.” Sagot ni Geli.

“And his physique?” Alam niya kasing malaking puntos sa isang lalake ang panlabas na anyo sa kapatid niya. Mahilig ito sa matipuno at guwapo.

“He’s guwapo and matipuno sa personal. Pero…” Mag-e-explain pa sana si geli patungkol sa physical na anyo ni Adriel.

“You mean mas guwapo at mas macho pa sa kin?” Nagpopormang macho ang kapatid na lalake.

“Haha! Ten times guwapo at matipuno than you!” Pangangantiyaw ng ate.

“Ouch! Ansakit naman nun, ate. Eh, ‘yon naman pala. Eh, ba’t ka nag iinarte? Nasa kanya na pa la lahat. Lahat ng gusto mo sa isang lalake, haha!” Pang aasar ni Gelo sa kapatid.

“That’s not it, Gelo! Nakaka inis ka naman, eh. You’re not helping.” May bahid tampo sa boses ni Geli.

“Eto naman si ate, oo. Nagtampo agad. So, why don’t you like him? He’s the most influential bachelor dito sa Pilipinas and everyone wants to be part of his life. I often saw him on the Internet and he’s indeed good-looking. He’s half greek, right?” tanong nito sa kapatid.

“I guess so. Mom nya ata ay Greek. Daddy nya ang Filipino and best friend nya si daddy.” Sagot ni Geli.

“So, he’s also from Davao?” Nasorpresa si Gelo sa sinabi ng kapatid.

“I guess so. Sabi ni mommy si daddy at and daddy ni Adriel used to go to the same school back then. Magkakumpetensya parents nila sa business dati pero in a friendly way.” Sagot ni Geli.

“Naku ate. There is no such a thing as friendly competition. I’m surprised na best friends sila. Did dad say anything at bakit kailangan mong magpakasal kay Adriel?” Gelo is a bit concerned para sa kapatid. They just celebrated their 25^th birthday a week ago and now ikakasal siya sa taong hindi pa niya lubos na kilala. The worst part here is hindi niya ito mahal. Kahit pa practical ang kakambal niya pero alam niyang me soft spot ito sa larangan ng pag ibig. She’s willing to commit if she’s in love.

“Honestly Gelo, natatakot ako. Hindi ko kayang suwayin ang kagustuhan ni daddy pero…not this! Damn, not this.” Tuluyan nang nag break down si Geli at inakap niya ni Gelo.

“Don’t worry, sis. We’ll get through this. I’ll be on your side.”
