LOGINSkylar's POV
"Knock, knock," Alex's voice came through the door. "May I come in?" "Of course you can, it is your home after all," "It's my home but this room is your escape from everything while you are here and while you are here I will not just barge in it just because it's my home," She states. "Thank you, I'm so used to the 'its my house my rules' from my parents. What is that tray for?" I asked after noticing she brought a tray with a cloche on it. "Well I figured you might've been hungry since you have been here for 6 hours now, so I brought you something to eat. I didn't know what you would want or like so I brought a sandwich, salad and chicken tenders so you have options." "Oh my, you did not have to do that. I would've just taken anything to be honest, I'm not really a picky eater. I would've also come downstairs as well." "It's okay, you're in the zone of trying to figure out this painting. Any thoughts on this painting so far?" " Not really, just that she chose these flowers for a reason and have the bigger person portray that way." "Maybe, now that you feel like you have the painting that the letter she left you may point you in a direction on what it could mean," She states as she sets the tray down on the nightstand. "Yeah maybe, but I think I should eat before my brain overloads from all this analyzing," "Yeah maybe it'll help, but I am going to step out to continue a project I have been working on in my studio. It's the room at the back of the house by the back door, if you need me for anything," Alex says as she walks towards the door. "Thank you once again for everything Alex," I tell her as she was leaving. After taking that break and eating I decided to reread the letter to see if anything stands out, like Alex had said. She chose these flowers for a reason and what else did they do in that house that she kept me away from seeing. I decided to search the flowers to see what people used to symbolize them for. Orchids are generally linked to good things such as purity luxury, love, and all of the good things. While thinking about it the smaller figure looks like kids, which is typically pure and our parents always had luxurious things for themselves. Knowing Stormie she used them for a double meaning. Dandelions are usually known for resilience, hope, transformation, and the simple joys of childhood. With once again knowing my sister, there's a double meaning. I decided maybe I need to make the search more negative in a way. When I did that in every possible way I got things involving death, unwanted, annoyance, amongst others but nothing standing out too much for this painting. Don't know how I got to the point of learning about a dandelion child and orchid child but everything started making sense. She always did say I was too sensitive for this world and that she would make sure to keep me smiling to the best she could at her young age. Looking at the painting one child is purely made of dandelions and the smaller child is made of Orchids. It's a painting of us and I'm guessing the bigger one is our father. Purely out of moss, which should mean harmony, new beginnings and age, that the outside world would see him as. The alternative that it is he is sadness, decay, a curse or even death, which is more believable for him. "Storm, what did he do to you?" I say to no one.Dear Sky, By now you should have taken at least a 2 day break to let the information I told you digest. I know that there are many questions running through your head but I needed you to have a break before telling you what I already did so far. I'm going to tell you about our mother. Our birth mother for this letter. She was broken. Just like me she was broken in more than one way. I was told growing up that she was mine, well ours, troubled sister. The sister that was out of control. The sister that wanted to be grown while still being a kid. The one that kept having babies that our family couldn't afford, so they got rid of them. I was told all of this before I knew what was actually going on. Before she left, I did not have any real bond with her, neither motherly or sisterly. She kept to herself and honestly with what those people were telling me I was okay with that at the time. After learning what happens to young kids at the parties, I regret not trying to
Skylar's POV "Wow that image screams power," Alex says walking in the room dressed in a black button up and dark gray slacks. Her pixie cut hair styled look like she spent multiple time of the day running her hands through it. She looks very serious in this outfit, nothing like the softie she showed yesterday. " Oh hey Alex, I didn't know you came back," "You were in the zone I didn't want to disturb you," I took a step back to see what I had created. It was very spikey but you can sort of make out a girl looking a mess. "You must think Im a wreck based on this," I sighed "What I think is that you're a teenager whose life just turned upside down in one day. No one would be put together after learning what you did," "Well thank you and any who, how was the meeting?" "It went better than what I had originally thought," "Is art your full time job or do you do something else?" "No, I'm the supervisor for people's relations at Moretti Inc," "People relations? is that
Unknown POV "She's here in Italy! Why is she here?" Sam storms in asking, no, better yet yelling at me. "Maybe cause Stormie was sick and twisted. Maybe she just couldn't let things go and is now bringing in the bambina to take part in it," I respond back calmly. "We can't let her into this world! I get that, that home was not safe for her but she wouldn't be safe here in our world too! Goodness why didn't she tell her to go somewhere else like Switzerland?" "You need to calm down. We will keep her out of this the best way we can. Right now I need to go to the meeting and find out what she knows and how she knows from my little friend." "What if she doesn't know how she knows?! Then what would we do! Huh can you answer that at least for me?" "We figure it out like we always do, but I need you to calm down and stop worrying so much. You are not in the best of health and the last thing we need is for you to end up in the hospital." ~Skylar's POV I was able to get a cab an
Skylar's POV The only thing I can think of is what the fuck. The only thing I want to do is scream and cry at max volume. So that is what I do after reading this. Our father is a monster and our real mom is his victim. What the fuck. We also have 3 brothers that were sent away because they were born boys. The lady who raised us, well me, is my grandmother. "Skylar, are you okay? I heard you screaming and figured you must've read something," Alex says after running up the stairs. "No, I'm not okay. I just found out that my family is even more fucked up then I thought. Did she ever tell you this?" "We spoke a few times about her past but she never really went into much detail. I didn't want to push her to talk about something that she wasn't ready to do." "So I can't even really ask you anything about this, and now she wants me to sit on this information for 2 days as well. Why did she just tell me this before? Why couldn't she just tell me this before she passed? I can't e

In the future I will try to put this note beforehand. ---------------------------------------------------- Skylar's POV Did they? No they couldn't have, wouldn't have. Would they? My parents were not the best but would they have harmed Stormie and is that the reason she didn't want me home? She never showed me anything that would suggest it but then again that would be part of the reason she sent me away. Should I ask Alex if the theory is correct? But do I want to know this information? Why didn't she tell me beforehand if I am correct? I go find Alex in the studio like she said it was located. I waited until she finished the line of paint that she was carefully drawing, not wanting to risk her messing her paint up. "Alex, I think I figured out the message," I tell her trying not to cry. "I hate to ask you, but in order for me to give you the next
