Sabnac could feel the two sisters' fear and it fueled him like gasoline. He walked toward them, but they were too scared to move. Sabnac looked at Psyche. "I need you to stay out here. I don't want you to die too." She looked at him in surprise. "I'll be honest, I'm surprised you care." She replied as they stopped walking. Sabnac winked at her. "I typically wouldn't, but you've always been kind to me and treated me like a person. No one in any realm has done that. You're a good person Psyche, and you deserve to be happy. Those two witches don't deserve the same. Please stay here." Psyche nodded and stayed where she was while Sabnac continued toward her sisters. Jameson arrived at the palace at the same time he received a mindlink that the sisters were dead, Psyche was alive, and she was back with Eros. He sighed in relief as he approached the palace gates where guards were watching him. “Hello, my name is Jameson. Andrew is expecting me,” he said with a smile. Jameson received a mindlink from Psyche that Sabnac was coming to help them. He couldn’t help the ripple of fear that ran down his spine. “What do you mean, they have the mark of the goddesses?” Gunnar asked as he and Bianca squatted down next to Sabnac and looked into Trisha's and Polly's eyes. “Stare into their pupils. Do you see the gold flickering?” He asked. Bianca gasped as she stared into Trisha’s eyes. She’d never noticed that before. Gunnar was stunned when he saw the same thing in Polly’s eyes. “What does this mean?” Bianca asked. Polly and Trisha looked at Sabnac in confusion. “We aren’t pups?” Polly asked him. He chuckled a deep chuckle and everyone around him looked in disbelief at the demon. No one had thought they'd see a demon like him laugh. “You’re still pups, but you’re very special pups. A goddess sent you here. I don’t know who or why, but someone sent you to Earth. That’s why you both are so mature for your age and have good instincts.” He explained. “How do you know so much about this?” Alani asked.

Achyls looked around at all her witches. They had come quickly, just like she knew they would. She hadn't told them what the plan was yet because she didn't want them to chicken out. She had seen Sabnac arrive and had to admit it caused her to have doubts about her plans. However, when she realized that he was now a big pushover she thought it was going to be a piece of cake to get rid of them all. Nyx she planned to save for last. She prepared the lie she would tell the witches to do what she wanted. "Thank you all for coming. We have a special task. It has come to my attention that the people who live at the lycan palace plan to eliminate all witches. We must stop them. They have many people who are planning to help them, some with powers that can rival ours. Don't be scared. We have the power of dark magic on our side. If they know anything about us then they should know that we don't play fair. I want you to use every spell and trick you know on them. We will leave as the sun
The Shadow Howlers Chapter 37 - The Fight
Gunnar, Bianca, the guards, and the warriors all shifted into their wolves and ran into the crowd of witches. Helios, Hermes, Nyx, Eris, and Sabnac ran with the wolves and used their magic on the witches. Some of the witches froze when they realized they were fighting gods and goddesses. They knew their magic wouldn't be able to defeat them. Selena and Zaiden stayed next to each other. From what Leto had said their powers would be stronger if they were together. They used their power to take out one witch at a time by throwing small balls of fire at them that turned them into ash instantly. Achyls stayed back to watch, but she was getting angrier and angrier as the witches were defeated. Polly and Trisha watched everything while holding hands. They wanted to help, but they would never disobey their parents. They watched their mom and dad's wolves attack one witch after another. Omar and Alani's wolves were ripping off the witch's heads as were the guards and other warriors.
The Shadow Howlers Chapter 38 - The Fight Ends
Eris quickly made Polly and Trisha visible again, so they could see where they were. What everyone saw made them pause before running to their aid. Achyls was holding each of the pup's arms, but her hands on them seemed to be melting as she screamed in pain. Polly and Trisha stood together holding hands as Achyls fell to her knees. Nyx, Sabnac, and Eris got to them before anyone else. Sabnac pulled out a small bag of poison that he had made especially for Achyls and sprinkled it on her head. Eris removed her melted hands from the pups while Nyx grabbed Achyls and flew into the air with her. The poison Sabnac put on her paralyzed her. "Selena and Zaiden, throw one of your fireballs when I release her," Nyx said. "You can't kill me. I'm indestructible." Achyls yells. Her body was paralyzed, but her voice wasn't. "That's where you're wrong. With everyone I created, I ensured there was a way to kill them. That includes you. I promise it's going to hurt a lot." Nyx held Achyls awa

One Year Later Gunnar and Bianca smiled as they watched Trisha and Polly talking with their brother as though he could respond. Ashton was a little over six months old. He had Gunnar's black hair and Bianca's hazel eyes. His sisters already spoiled him rotten. "Are you girls ready to go?" Bianca asked them. They were going to the palace. It was the first time that everyone who had been involved in the fight would all be together again with their little ones. "Yes. We can't wait to see all the babies," Polly said excitedly. Bianca picked up Ashton, changed his diaper, and put him in his car seat. "Knock, knock," Alani said as she walked into the room, followed by Omar carrying their son Phoenix. "Hi, little guy," Trisha said when Omar squatted down so she and Polly could kiss his cheeks. They had become the big sisters to everyone's little ones.
