The following day, Bianca and Gunnar sat down to talk with Austin, Jessica, Marisa, and Cyril to make preparations for the mating ceremony. They would mark each other in front of the pack and then introduce Bianca as the official luna. "Is there anything special you want?" Marisa asked Bianca excitedly. "I'd be happy just to mark each other and be done with it. I don't need a fancy party or anything else." She looked over at Gunnar and took his hand. Bianca shivered when they pulled up to the ashes that used to be the Last Moon pack house. It felt creepy to her now. It was still daylight, but there seemed to be a shadow over the former pack lands."Alright, everyone spread out. Don't leave any stone unturned." Gunnar said. Everyone went off in pairs to begin their search. Gunnar and Bianca headed toward the dungeons. When they got there, it was nothing but ash and metal. "Let's go beyond the dungeons. My dad was strict on what parts of the pack lands women and children were allowed to go on. The dungeons and anywhere around them were off-limits. I just assumed it was because it was too dangerous. Now that everything was settled, it was time for Gunnar and Bianca's ceremony. Neither of them was interested in the minor details; they were just ready to mark each other. Selena looked out of the palace window nervously. When Zaiden took her from the Shadow Howlers pack, she had been ecstatic that he wanted her as his mate. Zaiden knelt next to Selena when she dropped her knees and cried silently. When she felt him next to her, she threw her arms around him and cried on his shoulder. The people in the dining hall looked on with concern, not understanding what was happening. When Selena calmed down, she pulled out her notebook. The man who kidnapped me from my pack and took me to Last Moon is here. When Zaiden read what she wrote, he mindlinked the guards. "Lock the palace down.
