Chapter II

It's been a minute since the plane took off but I am still shock of what just happened. 

I am now sitting right next to this handsome man beside me who just brought chaos to my mind.

'Well, it's not like you are totally new to this kind of situation. Just go with the flow. Remember that you agreed to this.'

Oo na nag agree na ako pero di naman ako na inform na wife pala yung role ko. Hayst!

"You okay?" Alex asked me.

I smiled and just nod. 

"Well, actually, i'm not. I still need explanation of what just happened. I don't mean to dig in with your life but I think I deserve to know what I am dealing with?"

He smiled and slightly nod. "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry about earlier. I just wanna stop her from whatever she's doing."

He leaned back on his seat. Parang inaalala pa nya ang mga nangyari kaya naman naghintay nalang ako kung kailan sya handa magkwento.

But just as he was about to speak and share his side of story, dumating yung flight attendant na yumakap sa kanya kanina slash ex-fiance nitong 'husband' ko kuno.

"Good day Mr. Sarmiento! Can I get you any drink or I'll choose for you?" she asked Alex while obviously flirting with him. But Alex is just looking at me while holding my hands.

Tsk. How can a grown up handsome man act this way? 

How adorable.. Oopppss!

"Actually, my husband and I are good. Thanks but no thanks" I said while smiling angelicly to this Miranda girl.

"Hmm, I believe I asked Alex and not you..," Hindi nya tinapos ang sentence nya but the way she raise her eyebrows, she wants to say the B word.

"Oh, I'm sorry miss. I believe that my husband, which is Mr. Sarmiento for you by the way, only talks to people that matters to him. I hope you don't mind, if you know what I mean?"

Kalma lang akong nakatingin sa kanya na namumula na sa inis. Habang si Alex naman ay parang amuse na amuse sa nasasaksihan ang pag sagot-sagot ko sa ex-fiance nya.

"Do you mind giving us privacy? My HUSBAND and I needs to talk about something." I said while looking straight in her eyes and emphasizing the word husband.

Di nagtagal ay umalis na rin si Miranda.

"You can now let go of my hand Alex and start the story telling na please"

He just stared at me for a few seconds with amusement all over his face and his cute killer smile. 

Since when naging cute ang killer smile Xandra? Tsk! Sya lang nakakagawa non self.

"Well, ahm" tumikhim muna sya bago nagsimula sa kwento nya na may ngiti parin sa mga labi nya.

"Miranda is my ex-fiance. We met on our high school days, 3rd year kami to be exact. We started dating nong 1st year college kami. We were doing fine. I took up Business Management while she took Tourism."

Obviously.

"She's clingy, spoiled brat, demanding, annoying,"

I raised my left hand in front na nagpatahimik sa kanya. 

"Don't badmouth your ex. May pinagsamahan pa rin kayo no, so wag kang ganyan"

Binaba nya naman yung kamay ko but he didn't let go of it. 

"I know. But back then, I actually didn't mind it. Spending my money for her was never an issue. I proposed to her after we graduated. We planned back then na sa following year na kami magpapakasal since pupunta pa akong states to train kasi ako yung mag te-take over ng family business namin. Sabi pa nga namin na 'it's only just a year'. But my stay there was extended for about three years more. And when I came back home. She's still annoying and irritating but she has a lot of records also."

Napatakip naman ako sa bibig ko.

"She was imprisoned?? Hindi halata"

Napatawa naman sya dahilan para mapasimangot naman ako.

"Silly. What I mean is she had some affairs to people I actually know. And when I confronted her, she just said that it was all in the past now and that she's all mine already since i'm back home." mapait naman syang napangiti. Napailing din sya kaya I gave him a tap on his back.

"I'ts fine. I heard enough already"

Napatango naman sya.

"Now my turn to ask, what's your name?" tanong nya na nakapagpatigil sakin. 

"Allyson" I calmly answered.

I could've told him my real name but i'll just consider this happenings na isa sa mga extra works ko.

"How young are you Ally?" tanong pa nya.

"I'm 28. Eh ikaw?" He looks older and matured for me so i guess he's on his 30's.

"33" he replied.

Silence took over after we exchange our names and age. Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog pala ako.

A gentle caress on my cheeks woke me up from my sound sleep.

"Hey beautiful, wake up, the plane landed already. Let's get out of here"

Agad naman akong napatayo at nagpunas ng mukha, baka may laway pa no. Although di naman talaga ako nag lalaway matulog.

Medyo antok pa ako kaya dahan-dahan lang yung lakad po. Inalalayan naman ako ni Alex hanggang sa makababa kami ng eroplano.

We got our luggages already and time to go on our separate ways when I spotted Miranda few meters away from us and naglalakad sya papalapit.

"Alex, sumabay ka nalang okay?"

I clung at Alex arms and nag aantok-antokan pa kuno.

Mukhang na gets naman agad ni Alex ang nangyayari kaya sumabay narin sa pakulo ko. He unclung my arms and hug me instead then kiss my forehead.

Psimple ko naman syang inirapan, "You don't have to do that you know"

He smiled tsaka kinurot ang ilong ko. "Silly, mas okay to para sweet na sweet talaga tignan and mukhang effective din kasi di na tumuloy papunta dito" pasimple nya ring sabi habang naka ngiti pa rin.

Kahit sino mag aakala talagang nag lalambingan kami. If they could only hear what we are saying.

"Kung umalis na sya, bitaw kana. Pupunta pakong hotel eh and I still have to unpack."

Bumitaw naman sya sa yakap pero nakahawak sya sa kamay ko.

"Andyan pa sya, tara na at ihahatid nalang kita sa hotel mo"

Sumunod nalang ako sa kanya since nakahawak pa din sya sa kamay ko. And no reklamo nalang kasi baka masayang lang pagpapanggap ko sa plane no kung mabulgar na di naman talaga kami mag asawa.

Lumapit kami sa isang limousine. Binuksan naman nya agad ito at inalalayan akong makapasok. Nakasakay nako ng limousine noon kaya di na bago sakin to. But what amazed me is that he has a limousine service so that means, he is really someone in the business.

Oh well, good for him. I just shrugged the thought off and waited for him to get in too. 

After makarating sa hotel dun nalang ako mag ba-bye and thank you sa kanya sa paghatid. 

We were sitting next to each other but in each end of the car. Giving us some space.

I told him which hotel I'll be staying in. After that, he's busy with his phone so I plan sana na imidlip muna. But to my surprise, nagising nalang ako na nasa isang malaking kwarto at napakagara ng kulay at mga disenyo nito.

Where the hell I am??
