The Silent Pact of Love with a Billionaire-Chapter 3

"Could it be that you're wearing it yourself?"

Alice's seemingly casual remark made a hint of embarrassment flicker in Scarlett White's eyes, and Alice keenly caught it.

"Could I have really hit the nail on the head?"

Neil Davis stared silently at Scarlett White, not reprimanding her for incompetence, yet not waving her away immediately either.

Alice hooked onto his shoulder with a flirtatious air, mocking, "Neil, your assistant seems quite discerning..."

"I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy red wine with you tonight." Neil Davis's emotionless voice sounded neither hurried nor slow.

Alice was taken aback, then complained, "Are you sure? I won't give you a second chance."

Neil Davis turned and looked at her coldly, "Do you want me to take out all your clothes for you?"

Alice's face alternated between pale and flushed, unable to conceal her embarrassment. She removed her hands from Neil Davis's shoulder, turned around, and went into the room to change.

Within five minutes, Alice, wearing high heels and carrying a bag, left, casting an annoyed glance at Scarlett White outside the door.

...

The sound of high heels gradually faded away.

Scarlett White took a deep breath, no longer being presumptuous. "If there are no other instructions, I..."

A strong force suddenly hit her; her wrist was firmly pulled. Before she could react, her back had already collided with the wall near the room's entrance. She winced from the pain, but Neil Davis's lips covered hers before she could say anything.

"Uh... Uh..." Caught off guard, Scarlett White struggled instinctively.

Neil Davis forcibly held her jaw, and the taste of a woman's lipstick mixed with a faint scent of red wine filled the air between their lips and teeth.

This wasn't her lipstick taste; it belonged to Alice, the woman who had just left.

Thinking that he had kissed another woman in the same way moments ago, Scarlett White suddenly felt nauseous.

Neil Davis's lower lip suddenly stung, a strong taste of blood making him frown. He abruptly let go of the woman in his arms.

The vast difference in strength between them, coupled with his ruthless actions, caused Scarlett White to crash into a cabinet. The pain in her waist made her draw in a cold breath, and the items in her hands scattered on the floor.

The paper bag fell, and the shirt inside followed suit.

Scarlett White squatted down to pick them up, but a pair of hands, distinct with visible knuckles, were faster than her. He picked up the shirt before her fingertips could touch it, and a pair of slippers appeared in her line of sight. She froze.

"Is this bought for me?" Neil Davis pointed at the shirt, looking down at Scarlett White with a mocking smile.

Scarlett White met his sarcastic gaze calmly. "I just thought the color of the shirt was nice and it looked comfortable, so I bought it..."

Before she could finish, Neil Davis suddenly loosened his grip, and the shirt fell to the ground.

"You!" Scarlett White watched the shirt fall with widened eyes, but before she could react, Neil Davis pulled her and stumbled onto the nearby bed.

The disheveled sheets revealed a pair of black stockings, reminding her of the intimate scene that had just taken place on this bed.

The entire room seemed to be filled with a nauseating smell that made Scarlett White uncomfortable.

-----

The excessively sweet atmosphere made Scarlett White feel nauseous. She thought of getting up, but a dark shadow quickly enveloped her—Neil Davis was already pressing down on her.

Even his neck bore faint red marks from scratched fingernails.

"Let go of me!" Scarlett White instinctively struggled, and the lingering scent of a woman on him made her eyes red.

Neil Davis held down her pushing hands, a faint smile on his lips that did not reach his eyes.

"Did you come here tonight just to lie on this bed?" Neil Davis asked.

Scarlett White stared at the man who was smiling cruelly. The face that had been engraved in her heart since she was four years old now seemed strangely unfamiliar. The pain in her heart made her feel suffocated, and her vision became increasingly blurry.

Why did it turn out like this between them...

Neil Davis leaned down, and his slightly cool lips brushed against her cheek. "Lettie, have you been lonely all these years?"

This was the first time in five years that he had called her Lettie, and it was under these circumstances.

"That's enough!" Scarlett White, with her restrained body, stared directly at the man who was smiling coldly. "I'm not a prostitute."

Neil Davis's smile did not diminish. "Lettie, don't taint the word 'prostitute.' At least prostitutes won't give birth to their clients' children."

Scarlett White felt a sharp pain in her heart. She raised her hand to slap him, but he firmly held her.

"Did I say something wrong? If the Davis family had really fallen back then, you probably would have left with that man after giving birth to his child, right?"

As Neil Davis spoke, he suddenly tore off her scarf.

Exposed under the orange light was the dazzling diamond necklace on Scarlett White's neck.

Scarlett White stared at him, and her face turned pale without a trace of color.

"I told you to put on the necklace. Did you think it was a gift for you? You rushed over with just one phone call. It seems you dressed up specially for this. Were you nervous and excited before ringing the doorbell?"

Neil Davis keenly sensed Scarlett White's tremor. The next second, his hand had already slipped under her skirt...

"No!" Scarlett White panicked and tried to pull his hand away.

Neil Davis stared at her, and his eyes showed a disgusted disdain. He sneered, "Scarlett White, do you think I want you? You've had another man's child. Touching you, I find it dirty!"

Scarlett White's body instantly stiffened. The words "You've had another man's child. Touching you, I find it dirty" echoed in her mind for a long time—

Neil Davis let go of her hand, got up, and took his clothes and phone to leave. "Kevin, didn't you say the Heaven on Earth Club recently received a new batch? Keep two for me; I'll come over later."

The heavy closing of the door echoed.

Scarlett White, with a pale face, sat on the edge of the bed for a long time, maintaining a posture. She picked up the shirt, which now had a footprint on it, and black leather shoes had stepped on it.

She bit her lip, looked up at the ceiling, trying to force back the tears about to burst out, and a self-deprecating smile appeared on her lips.

Yes, how could she forget? She had given birth to a child.
