His face turned to one of shocked horror. He stared at me as if he couldn’t believe what I said. 

“Wh-what are you talking about?” He asked.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Weston, but I’m afraid I can’t be your caretaker,” I repeated. “Don’t worry, I promise this has nothing to do with any of these so-called ‘incidents’ we’ve had. I have some personal reason for leaving. I’m very sorry to have wasted your time. I hope you and Thomas will find someone suited for the position very soon.”
