Mel chuckled in distaste. "Of course, you know my name and I don't even know who you are!”

"I only knew yesterday when I got your file. We were so engrossed in each other that I forgot to tell you my name. You never asked either."

Melissa said nothing.

"Can we sit and discuss your job role?"

"I'm not interested in working for your company." She said for the 100th time.

"Do you hate me that much?"

Melissa rolled her eyes at the sadness she saw in his eyes.

"15,000 dollars per month plus other benefits. 9 to 5 daily. Your weekends are free except on days when there's so much to do. You will also be going on trips with me once in a while."

"Business trips!" He corrected.

"I want nothing to do with you. Open the door and let me take my leave."

Damien ran his fingers through his neatly styled hair. "He wanted her to stay and work for him. He had no idea why he had the urge to keep her close to him but he didn't know what to say to convince her."
