122. An Informant

Instead of answering his wife's question, Riley said, "I guess ... I'll sleep with Kharel tonight."

Hearing Riley's words that were not at all what she expected, Rowena could only sigh in frustration.

Of course she could never force Riley to do even the slightest thing. The young man was a firm leader, obviously no one would be able to influence his decisions, not even him, the wife he loved.

With a heart filled with disappointment, Rowena gave up that night and did not speak of it again.
