“SHIT!” Evan cursed with anger overwhelming him.

As if to spite Riley, he continued, “He doesn't care about your fate at all. Maybe he wanted you killed here, General Wood.”

Evan thought that after listening to what he had said, Riley would be outraged.

Instead, Riley smiled wryly and said, “He finally did it.”

Evan frowned in astonishment, “What? What do you mean?”

Riley, feeling energized, turned to Evan and looked at the man without fear.

The young man smiled instead, “He made it out of his shell.”
