I couldn’t believe my ears. So, all this while, I was being played by Nina, and she had her way at each stage she planned. It was so unbelievable that she could outsmart me, myself. How could all these happen, and I had no suspicion about this?

It was so embarrassing as the memory of the time when Nadia was brought out to the meeting hall and was being interrogated, but nothing worked in her favor- came to my mind. Nadia had pleaded for me to believe her; although, she had no proof, but then, I ought to have been lenient.

So, I played Nina’s pawn, and made my lover suffer all for nothing, and alone, all by herself. Anger filled me up like when water fills up a bucket to the brim. I got so furious that if it were possible, fire was going to flare out of my head, showing how dangerously angry I was.
