It was set in a beach resort that was absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean. It not only had a beach, but also a small swimming pool inside the resort itself.

And most importantly, water is one of the main elements of nature and is usually connected to healing and purification.Also, most adult bodies are around sixty percent water (60%) which means we need water to stay functional, healthy, and alive.

Since I promised Tita that I would go to her wake, I was often at the funeral home and sometimes I would even sleep there. Dada’s other relatives were scared of staying in that funeral house because of its not-so-pleasant reputation. Meanwhile, at Dada’s house, Tita haunted her own room during the first few days so no relatives of hers slept there either. They huddled up in the living room at night, lying down on the couches, chairs and sleeping on the floor. Then in the morning, they all went back to the wake.
