The two hours Bella spent in that castle was the most nervous two hours of my life. So many fearful questions wove through my psyche. The silent what-ifs and whatnots.
When Damien cast the spell, he seemed to be in a trance so I couldn't find out how things were going in there. Duke was just as worried as I was but tried to comfort me. I knew how much he cared for Isabella and almost died because of her so I knew that whatever he felt was genuine.
My eyes were glued to my wristwatch as my nervousness turned to despair with every minute that passed without her showing up.
