Yvonne stared at Elio in shock and said angrily, "Don't you have any shame? Why should I give you half of my profits if you don't invest anything? Are you that desperate for money?"

Elio rolled his eyes. "Then go by yourself if you want. Just so you know, I'd bet everything I have that you'll lose everything today. Do you think gambling on gems is really that simple? There's a huge ploy right under the surface."

"Wait, you have experience with gemstone gambling?" Yvonne asked skeptically.

"Of course!" Elio replied with full confidence.

Yvonne was annoyed. He really did not take her seriously at all! He reprimanded her so casually whenever he wanted. If it were anyone else, she would have beaten them up by now.

After giving it some thought, Yvonne took another leap of faith and chose to believe him. She gritted her teeth and said, "Alright, we'll do as you say. But what if we lose?"

"Then I'll compensate you in full. How about it? Fair enough for you?" Elio said nonchalantly.
