13| I really admire you.

When Reese got to Tom’s office, she stopped in front of the door and took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

"Come in." Tom said almost immediately, and Reese pushed the door open.

Tom was seated by his desk when she entered, and he leapt to his feet the second he saw her.

"The boss seems interested in you." As he approached her, he said. "Do you guys have a history?"

"No." She lied and shook her head repeatedly. "We don’t have a history." She added.

"Very well then." He stated, despite his dissatisfaction with her response. He still believed there was something going on. "Let me show you your office. Then we can continue with the orientation there."

She nodded her head in response.

He walked past her and strolled out of the office, with Reese trailing right behind him.

He stopped in front of the office that was next to his. And as he opened the door, Reese read the name inscribed on the nameplate mounted on the door out loud. "Victoria Williams."

"She used to own this office.
