1. The Elimination

You never know what hits you. And when it hits you hard, you feel all the guilt and all the self-hatred. Why couldn't you just guess it or see it before. You had all the fucking leads, but never once did you think that this one particular thing could cost you a lot.

We would lose someone who is so important to us. But why did it have to be soo tough on us after all this time. It had been long that we lost her. We lost her smile, her love and mostly her presence. her presence it-self was enough to calm us down and help us think rationally. And why on Earth would they both have to lose them both o the same day and why did it have to be one of his most trusted man to actually rat him out to the enemy.

The little girl didn't deserve all that pain she had gone through. It wasn't her fault to be born into this world.

"Why the hell are we waiting over here for?" ofcourse it has to be Leonardo to break the silence first. Leonardo Dimitrie the not soo comfortable person for you to be around until and unless he considers you his. He could make your life a living hell if he wants. The only people who he can be good is to his family, mostly to his little sister and then the boys. They all lost it when they had lost their angel and they wanted a bloodbath. None of them are the same anymore.

"Maybe planning" okay now it has to be the coolest strategist of ours. Who can be soo cool. Like soo calm before the storm. Don't even try to provoke him. It would be soo hard for you to face his wrath. Never ever provoke Wylan Bianchi. He could just turn your life upside down.

"Oh my dear poor Wylan why is it taking soo long for you to do that. He is just an old hag. We can just put a bullet straight through his skull and then we can dispose him off maybe just burn him. And why did I come here leaving all those beautiful girls who would be happy to be with me.." oh my my. Poor little Ryan is worried about his girls. Oh is he serious. No. He just likes to flirt with them. But nothing serious. He has heart only for one and he would never even consider having another in his life. Never. He would stay single for his whole life. 

"Just shut the fuck up and concentrate on the mission Ry. It's not that we are out here for fun. Ofcourse it is fun killing this old hag. And he is the final piece. The end of this vengeance" Rowan retaliated at his brother. Rowan Ferrari and Ryan Ferrari the handsome brothers like what the girls say are not twins but are in the same year. On e born in the starting of the year and one at the end. 

"Yeah I know. But why is it taking so long" Ryan asked slumping down into his seat. "The old hag had this coming and he is well prepared. When he saw all his men dying, he secured this house with the best. And it is just tough for us to barge in and put a bullet into his head. We gotta let Nick do his work. Give him some peace" Skylar Russo our happy going sniper boy spoke from his place. 

They all were bickering one another for something. They are like this and who thought it might be different. They all have different approaches to a situation. Leonardo is adamant and he is short-tempered then comes the Ferrari brothers. Cool, calm and caring and why not ruthless and scary as hell. But the youngest is flirty. Then comes our calm Bianchi. You can actually find him approachable and so calm like a forest or the ocean. But even they have the demons. So, do not provoke him. Our Skylar Russo has a heart vast like the sky. Happy, calm, cool and caring. All that a sniper can not have. But who are we stop him. He is the beat at his work and can be scary as hell. Finally our Nicholas Ivanov. The master brain of this gang. He is the brain and he is the spine. Never once did they see him smile in all these years. How can he when he lost her. She was his soul and losing her was the last piece to pull him out.

All dealt with the loss in a different way, and Nick was the one who closed off completely. The only emotion he showed was anger and revenge. He wanted blood, the blood of those who took her away from him.

"Done" said Nick and it was all they wanted to hear.

Skylar took his place on the opposite building and he set the angle. Wylan is the only one who knows this place inside and out. All thanks to Ryan's charms in getting the blueprints and the secret passages from one of the maids that works for the old hag. Rowan as usual stayed in the car and kept it alive. All they need is speed and he is the speed. Leo handed his masterpieces 'weapons' to Nick. Nick would be the only one going in and if he misses, Skylar would shoot the old hag.

"I have a clear shot of the old hag" Skylar's voice boomed through the walkie. "Not yet. He needs to know why and I want to be the one to put a bullet in his head" Nick replied before tucking back the walkie into his pocket. Wylan explained the route and all the safety measures. 

"Boys, what is this we are doing?" Leo asked and all spoke in unison. 

Elimination.

It is an fucking elimination and this is the final one.   

Nick fled through the corridors like he owns the place and he soon was in the old hag's room. 

"Oh, how could you sleep so peacefully after putting us into years of misery" Nick said pressing down his gun to the person's forehead.

"Oh boy I was expecting this someday. But I wasn't expecting you to be here on behalf of him" what nerve did he have to speak back.

"It's not like I killed her right. I killed her mother and threatened her life. All the after math was your doing. You all were scared. You were the ones who pushed her away to the point of no return" he kept on speaking.

"This is for taking away her happiness and her happy life. This is for her mother and this is solely for the husband who is still grieving over his wife's death and the children over their mother's death. This is for taking our beloved aunt from us and this is for you making us hate her and making us keep her soo far away" Nick roared in anger. But before he could pull the trigger, a bullet torn through his shoulder.

He did not waste a minute. He put a bullet in the old hags head.

"Eww, you are ruining my baby" Rowan groaned in frustration. 

"This is not the time to whine Ro. Just shut the fuck up and move" Ryan snapped at his brother while still pressing down on Nick's injury. By the time they reached the hospital, Ryan pulled the bullet out and dressed the injury. They just need the medication.

"Melaine, check him once and make sure he doesn't leave the hospital till morning" Ryan said to a nurse and he barged into his mom's room. Alessa Ferrari, his mom is a doctor and she owns the hospital. Ryan learned a few tricks from his mother and they came in handy.

"Mission accomplished" he said beaming at her mom's worried face. "And before you start panicking, it is not my blood. It is Nick's and I have handled it" he said hugging her, but made her even more worried.

"What, is he okay? Where is he? I need to check on him" she said frantically pushing him away and standing up from her chair. 

"Oww, that hurts. Are you gonna ditch your own son for him. How sad" Ryan said holding his chest in fake pain. Alessa just swatted his hand away dismissing him.

"Okay well mister. Put all your drama aside and let me go check him before he thinks I bailed out on him like his mother" she said pushing him away. But she regretted saying that. They all loved Nick soo much. Nick's mom left him behind with his father and she never came back. He lost when Iris was gone. It was so hard for him to deal with all that. 

"I didn't mean it in that way Ryan" she said looking at her son apologetically. "It's okay mom I know you love and I am fine with that. We all know him and we all love him. But why is that all the women in  the family love him more than their own children? Just forget I asked that. He is smart, sweet and he is a good person and he needs you all. Just go and be with him. He needs you" Ryan said kissing his mother on the forehead and pulled her into a tight embrace. 

They all loved Nick more than anything and everything and sometimes, their parents pick him over them. And it is fine by them coz they love him.

"Mom his phone" he said taking out Nick's phone from his pocket, but stopped when it vibrated in his hands. 

He looked at the screen and he deadpanned. Everything around him became blurred. He paced out of the room and jumped into his car. He called all the boys and checked his phone and he had the same message.

"Say you saw it and say it's fucking true" Wylan's voice boomed through the speaker. "Yes" all the others spoke. 

"I am on my way" Ryan said speeding up a bit. "Yeah we are also coming" they all said before ending the call.

Out of all the times, why did it have to be now. Cazzo
