Lindsay's POV
I forgot how drunk I was, but I was reminded when I stepped out of the car. I almost tipped over but was saved by Shaun who grabbed my hand forcefully and dragged me toward himself.I giggled, placing my hand on his chest. "You are strong" I loved the way he smelled. His manly cologne unimaginably stimulated me. I had not felt this way for years now."Let go in," he instructed when he was sure I was standing upright now. He was at the front while I struggled to walk at the back.I took the first, second, and third steps, then I fell to the floor. I groaned in pain. My body still hurt. Being drunk didn't stop the pain."Are you okay?" he rushed toward me, but I waved him off with a smile as I tried to stand up.At that point, the alcohol seemed to have taken over me fully. He tried to hold my hand to aid me, but it was barely working. All I did was giggle, clapping my hands as I watched him try."Fuck this" he muttered under his breath and swept me off the ground, carrying me bridal style. My brain was aware of our closeness and I couldn't keep my cool. I wanted to stay there forever. I just met him, but my body desired him. I leaned into his chest as I inhaled his scent. It was weird, I knew, but I wasn't thinking straight at that moment. He set me down when we entered his house. I was indeed right when I concluded he was fucking rich. I admired the house briefly but didn't dwell so much on that. What I wanted was to admire the tall, tanned skin, handsome Greek God in front of him."Come let me show you to your room," He said, but soon realized I was a dummy at that point. He sighed as he grabbed my hands and guided me upstairs. He got to a room door and opened it."You would be sleeping here," he said. "And take a shower, you reek of alcohol""Thanks for your honesty" I snickered as I walked into the room."I will tell one of my men to get you some lady wea..."I didn't let him finish before slamming the door in his face."Thank you so much" I yelled with a smile. The smile remained on my face as I dragged my feet to the bathroom. This was the first time in a long time I experienced peace. I wasn't scared of Asher hurting me.As the water caressed my body, tears caressed my cheeks. I wasn't crying because I was scared, but because I was hurt and angry too. Why was I given such a heartless man as a husband when there were men like Shaun out there? I wished I never made the mistake of getting married to him. This was the first time I had spent the night outside Asher's house and I couldn't just leave without relishing the moment. The drink I had boosted my morale and I found myself grabbing the white towel that was hung neatly on the hanger. I wrapped it around my naked body and marched out of the bedroom and also out of the room.I went in search of Shaun. The cold shower I had, had already cleared my head a bit for me to move around, but I was still a little bit drunk."Shaun?" I called out as I walked down the stairs with water dripping from my body."Shaun" I called again."Over here" I heard his voice from the kitchen.I braced myself up and walked to where I heard the voice from. He had a cup of water on his lips, drinking the content. I watched as his Adam's apple went up and down. God this man was perfect, I couldn't help but scream inside me. Everything about him was perfect, so good."Yes?" He turned to look at me after settling the cup on the kitchen counter. I saw as his eyes scanned my body which was only covered with a towel. He was confused, his eyes didn't hide it"I... I uh" I stuttered, already feeling nervous, but I waved it off immediately. "I want you to fuck me," I blurted and watched his eyes widen. He didn't expect that from me.Shaun's POV"I want you to fuck me" I heard her say. The water I had initially swallowed found its way to my throat and I almost choked.I didn't expect such a statement from her. I saw the determination in her eyes, but I also didn't fail to notice how drunk she was."You are drunk" I stated the obvious."Does that matter?" "Yes it does" I tried to brush past her, but she held my hand. I immediately felt heat course through my body. Looking at her with only that towel on her was a turn-on. Now she was touching my hand and I felt l was going to lose my mind. No woman had ever made me feel this way just by touching my hand. I wondered what kind of power she possessed."You are going to regret this" "I am the one going to regret it, not you. Why do you care?" She heaved herself closer to me and I stiffened. No matter how hard I tried to act like I wasn't affected, it didn't work. "You don't have anything to lose and I don't have anything to lose" She was very close and my body was slo
Lindsay's POV.I didn't feel the gravity of what I had done until I woke up the next morning. A wave of guilt washed through me immediately. I looked at my naked self covered with nothing but a duvet and I felt the need to cry. Something was missing, Shaun wasn't there. That was for the best because I couldn't imagine the amount of embarrassment I would have felt if he was by my side. Maybe I had had too much to drink.I got up from the bed and wore my clothes. Without even bothering to look in the mirror, I ran out of the room and the house, looking like a crazy person. Even the guards were stunned to see me, but I wasn't concerned about them. I was concerned about something greater; Asher. He was going to make my life a living hell if he found out I was with another man. Even though I didn't plan on telling him, there was a probability that he would find out because what else could be the reason I spent the night outside? When I got out of the cab, I swallowed hard. There was no way
Shaun's POV."This isn't a new thing. Finding her shouldn't be so hard" I raised my voice in frustration. I was almost losing my mind."Maybe she doesn't want to be found" Ken shrugged and I sighed leaning back on the seat."Why are you so worried about her? Did she take your money?""No" I mumbled under my breath."Then I don't think you should worry about someone you met at a club"That statement for some reason got me angry. Those were the same words I said to myself when I got back and couldn't find her. But here I was, after several days, still worried about her. I had asked my best men to look for her, but it had been to no avail. It shouldn't have been so hard, but they found it difficult. Things like that weren't supposed to be hard for me to do, but here I was frustrated because of someone I barely knew. I didn't even ask her her name. I knew nothing about her. I had a feeling she didn't want to be found, but there was no way she could hide from me. I was going to search eve
Lindsay's POV.After putting on my regular loose top and a pleated skirt, I left my room. Asher wasn't home, which I was grateful for because, during these past few days, I couldn't stand him."Fredo's Inc," I said to the cab driver and entered inside.I looked down at my shaky hands. I was so nervous and the reason was clear. The fear of rejection overwhelmed me and also the feeling of me not being good enough. I remembered the words Asher said to me the previous day. "Why don't you quit already" those words boiled my blood. He was the cause of my problems. The least he could do was be supportive. The drive didn't take more than 30 minutes and we were already there. I stared at the big building in front of me. The biggest online trading company ever. I have never been there before and the only person I knew was Tricia."Hello, welcome to Fredo's incorporated. How can I help you?" A beautiful blonde lady said to me, As she talked, her eyes didn't leave the screen of her laptop.I thou
I desperately wanted to put on something different, but my whole closet was filled with nothing but pleated skirts and loose tops. The desperate need to impress Shaun with my outfit clouded me, but I was restricted by my husband's crazy mindset.Having no other choice, I put on what I had, but I didn't leave without looking at the mirror.I applied a little bit of makeup. That was something I rarely did, but I wanted to look ravishing that day. I fixed my blonde hair which had been tied up in a bun and let it cascade down my shoulders. It was also something I never did. My hair was either in a ponytail or a messy bun, but that day was different. My reflection in the mirror was better than how it had been these last few days. I looked and felt alive. I walked out of my room with my heart in ecstasy. The ecstasy didn't start all of a sudden. It started the moment I stepped out of Shaun's office that day. I couldn't sleep, I kept rolling and tossing around the bed, thinking about how the
“Good," he said under his breath. “Now keep your eyes on the mirror while I undress you. Don't take it off". He instructed. The tone of his voice had changed. It was more deeper and intense. My heart began to beat faster again. I turned to look at him in puzzlement.“Turn back around," he instructed. “You need to learn how to trust me, Lindsay,” he said calmly. His voice had a way of soothing me. It sounded like music to my ears. A spell I couldn't resist.I turned back to look in the mirror as I watched him slip my shirt off. I breathed in sharply, loud enough for him to hear. He unhooked my bra and slipped it off too.I was aware of the fact that I was bare-chested, staring at a man who wasn't my husband from the mirror, but I didn't feel guilty a bit.He unzipped my skirt and I watched it go down my waist. My heartbeat picked up the pace. I was clothed with only red panties. He slipped his hand around my waist, wrappings his hand around it.I felt embarrassed and I looked down. He
I was the first to wake up. I got down from the bed and started putting on my clothes without telling Shaun. There was no need to disturb him. I was sure he wouldn't be bothered If I left without telling him. I was just his sex mate after all“You want to leave without telling me again?" I heard his voice and I jolted because I didn't know he was awake.“It's getting late"“It's just 4 in the evening"“And I think my work hours are over," I said, slipping on my skirt.Shaun got down from the bed and started walking toward me. He was naked and my body was aware of it. It heated up instantly, but I managed to keep my cool.He stopped in front of me, but I dared not look him in the eye. I kept my gaze on the floor, searching for my bra.“Looking for this?" He raised his hand, holding it to my face.“Oh," my cheek flushed in embarrassment. “Thanks" I took it from his hand.I was about to wear it, but he didn't let me. “I didn't give you so you could wear it," he said, coming closer to me.
Lindsay's POVAs I walked into the office foyer, I instantly felt nervous. It felt like everybody bored holes in my body with their eyes, judging me for cheating on my husband. That was my paranoia acting up. In a real sense, no one was staring. They all went on with their normal routine like I didn't matter.Shaun had called me, saying I should meet him at the office instead of his place. I frowned at the idea. It wasn't such a great idea to meet in public. My husband's eyes were everywhere and it would only be a matter of time before he caught me. I wanted to do everything in my power to avoid that. When I got to Shaun's office, I made the mistake of not knocking. I barged into his office and I instantly regretted it“How the fuck did you let this happen again?!“ Shaun roared with rage. His face was red in anger and his eyes were deadly.I had never seen Shaun so mad before. He was yeling at the man with him, but it felt like he was yelling at me.Not knowing what to do, I leaned on
