The spell and the victim

Lindsay's POV

I was so devastated that I found it hard to say anything for the first few seconds. I opened my mouth to speak, but a gasp escaped instead.

“Asher, is there a problem?" I tried to ask, but the call had already ended. My overthinking self played in. I started thinking of the numerous reasons he would call me.

I rushed back to the room where Shaun was. He stared at me in puzzlement. I was so thrown off as I searched for my clothes like a crazy person.

“Lindsay, is there something wrong?" he asked, but I didn't give him a response. He slipped off the bed and walked to where I was. “Hey" he called out and I looked at him briefly before peeling my eyes off him again. “Hey!" He called out and I stopped immediately, but I was still panicking.

“Is there anything wrong?" he held my face with both his hand as he peered his eyes into mine

“I..."I sucked in the air. “I need to be home"

“But you haven't spent..."
