XXXVI: Get You Head In The Game

"Cece, is that Marcus?"

Cece straightens up and frantically looks around the field. "Oh my gosh, you're right! What is he doing there?"

Kai turns to us and asks about what we're talking about. We tell him and he frowns, "Is he that passionate about the sport so suddenly?"

"Honestly, these boys need to learn what it feels like to live without privilege." Cece notes.

The game goes on well, much to my surprise. Not that I was hoping for our team to self-destruct or lose, but everyone on the field looked good and like they belonged there together. And that's saying a lot, considering the fact the kings are on that field.

We cheered all our voices out that when half-time came, I felt my throat dry.

It was also at this point, Tommy spotted me in the crowd. I waved at him with both of my arms, and so did Cece and Kai. I made a heart with my hands and pretended to throw it at him. Tommy laughed at this.
