Benton looked at the box of supplies everyone had gathered and dropped off in his office over the past two hours. It had grown to the point it was overfilling. He grabbed a trolly to help him get everything on it so he could wheel it out to his car. He was eternally grateful that no one had asked any questions of him. They seemed to not care at the fact he wanted these items or the fact there was a baby, let alone a newborn baby, in his office. He had fashioned a wrap to be able to hold the baby and have use of his hands.He had blankets wrapped around the newborn. As they neared the townhouse, she was awake again. Though she had wide eyes, she didn’t say anything. It wasn't until they pulled into the driveway for the house and then into his garage that she looked at him. “What are your plans for me?” Jade asked.“To get you on your feet in a little while,” Benton said as he looked at her. “Jade, I know that you have had a lot thrown at you in the past few hours. I am sure that you have all the horror stories going through your mind right now as well. I want you to know that I will do what I can to help you right now. You need to be in a hospital, but after what I heard, I doubt any in this area won't do the same to you and throw you out. I might not have a hospital, but I am a doctor. I can help you heal and then figure out what comes next. That is all I want to do. I don’t have all that much, but you are welcome here. I don't think that you have many other choices.&

When he had finally woke up the next day, he was glad that he had the day off. He knew that he had a bunch of stuff to do and get for the baby. It wasn't like he had actually planned on any of those, so he didn't have plans for the day that he had to cancel or anything. It was just he was never supposed to be going to the store to buy a bunch of things for a baby. At this point, he didn't really care what he had to spend to make sure that the baby was taken care of for the moment. That was an easy thing to do.
