LEONA’S POV

“Rupert!” I pushed him away annoyingly.

“Sorry, but I am scared. What was that noise? A wolf?” Rupert clung to my arm again and urged me to accompany him.

“Seriously, Rupert? That noise was nothing, and you are overreacting.”

“What if it comes here? Let’s close the door!” Rupert locked the doors and windows crazily.

I was planning to go out and follow the howl. I know it was a werewolf. I can feel it in my gut, but I can’t go there with Rupert. He’ll be a nuisance.

With that, I decided to go to my room and rest. Everyone could see it and be in danger if that was a werewolf. Werewolves are vultures when it’s full moon. It’s not safe for humans.

Rupert followed and went to his room. I forgot about Darren. I was going to knock on their room again, but what if Darren was already sleeping? He wasn’t feeling better earlier.
