By Saturday morning, Sir Theo called together, the other eleven members of the council of chiefs. He did not tell them why he had called the meeting and some of them were already asking.

One of the inquisitive ones, was Dagrin, the war chief. Dagrin had been impatient with his prisoners and he had been wondering about what was going to be done to Tobias and Gedoni.

Dagrin had already approached king Lucius in a bid to get him to pass a judgment but Lucius had refused. Lucius felt that it was his father’s responsibility to pass judgment on the traitors, Tobias and Gedoni.

Dagrin didn’t like that.

But then on Saturday morning, Sir Theo called for the meeting and Dagrin assumed that the reason for the meeting had to do with his prisoners.

But he was wrong and he was soon about to find out.

All twelve members of the council of chiefs were already seated when Sir Theo started the meeting.
