One of the guards stationed at the door signaled to Adolf and Adolf walked up to him. The guard spoke to Adolf in whispers and Adolf nodded his head. Then Adolf proceeded to Darius and he whispered the words to him as well.

Just like Adolf did, Darius also nodded his head, and then he hit his leg on the floor three times signifying that he had something to say.

“Prince Darius, you may speak.” The chief priest said.

“I have just gotten word from one of my spies that my uncle, Gedoni, and the entire army of the rosewood pack are less than two days away. They are fast approaching and I think we need to take a decision now.”

Murmurs went around the room and it suddenly became quiet. The only noise that could be heard was from the cracks of the burning woof in the fireplace. Darius didn’t sit down after making his speech.
