The sterile scent of the hospital filled my senses as I exited the building. I was not exactly fully recovered but one thing was for sure and that was, if I spent any more time in the hospital, I might actually lose my mind.

My weak but determined legs carried me forward. It had been three long months since the accident that left me in a coma, three months of lost time, uncertainty, and the haunting weight of the past.

A lot had apparently happened in my absence. Reynolds had been sentenced to death, and my children were safe. There are no words to describe the unfathomable joy I feel when I see them running around calling me their father.

I was finally back home to my mansion which had always felt hostile and quiet but now it was filled with Joy and laughter, laughter of the twins. It was clear that Kira and Keith were the ray of light needed for my life to be bright.
