Nicholas lets out an awkward laugh. "I'm pretty sure we broke over fifty phones trying to get to you." I smile up at them. "Well I'm here now, so?" I trail off. "We missed you, my love. I lean against the desk, resting against one arm as the twins take the seats in front of me. "What do you want, Dennis?" He laughs on the other end. "Hello to you, too, Caroline. After breakfast, we pile back into the car, Antonio driving and me in the passenger seat. Nicholas is in the backseat, leaning forward to run his hands through my hair. One of Antonio's hands is on my thigh, my hand on top of his. I look down at his hand as he drives us to the doctors office. Why is it that I never realized that we don't have rings? We reach the doctors office and exit the car, heading straight inside. It's pleasant looking, not too busy with only two other patients waiting in the room. I walk up to the receptionist, the twins following right behind me. "Hi, I'm here for an appointment for Caroline Rossi." The receptionist smiles at me briefly before her eyes widen once they meet with the twins. When she doesn't respond, I huff. This bitch was staring at my men like they were a piece of meat. I meet the twins at the front entrance and they walk me to the car. Nicholas opens the front door, closing it after me before taking the driver's seat. Antonio sits in the back, pulling his laptop out, a grimace on his face. "Sorry, love. I hate doing this, but I just have to read over this important file for a board meeting tomorrow morning.
