I laugh at her and pull her back down on the grass next to me.

"The twins have been trying to find me I guess. I think I need to go, at least to see what they want, you know? Besides, they should know about the baby. It's not really fair on them. What if something were to happen to me, and the baby was put into the foster system or something?"

She wraps me up in a surprising hug. "I'm proud of you. So when are we going?"

I pull away and look at her in confusion. "We?"

She gives me a look. "I told you I would be there for you through it all. That includes baby daddy drama. Or is it baby daddies?"

I laugh at her, not even bothering to try to persuade her to stay.

Once she set her mind on something there was nothing I could do.

“Well, I guess we should head back home and look at flights.”

Within seconds, her phone is in her hand. She taps away at it for a few moments before looking back up at me.

“There's a flight leaving in three hours. I booked two seats.”

I shake my head a
