"Is there anything specific you want in a place, Darling?" Nicks driving me to the restaurant, his hand on my thigh. Tony is staying at the house, claiming his file and prep for the board meeting were looking to be more difficult than originally thought.

I turn to Nick with a smile. "Do you think you can look for something with, like, a Jack and Jill bedroom in it? I think it would be so cute for the twins. Of course, we can use one as a nursery and the other as a guest bedroom until they are older and then we can switch it up."

He smiles at me quickly before turning back to the road. We reach the restaurant, a quiet little Italian place the twins and I frequented often. I give him a quick kiss, promising to call him when I was ready, before heading inside. I see Amanda already sitting in one of the booths and I sit across from her.
