Nickolas was beside himself with worry. He went to a room downstairs that was kept for the monitoring of the ranch, but with the ranch not having as much activity, they hardly ever went to the monitors but he needed answers. It was only after six in the morning, but the little town that surrounded the ranch was already up and sinning. Nickolas stood next to the chestnut stallion, Florence, on a hill overlooking the ranch below. It had been a long night outside, and he was tired.
