Chapter No.2

Sabrina Costa:-

"Hello, Mr. Morris. Do I know you and last I know my name is Sabrina Costa. Not, Sab. And, for you, it is, Miss. Costa, please." I regained my posture and masked the expression along with the feelings that I was feeling deep inside of me after looking at the man, the love of my life, yet the heartbreaker of my life and father of my baby standing in front of me with zero knowledge of being a father to his four-year-old son.

"And, last I know when you were under me on my bed five years ago it was Carlos you were screaming and moaning instead of Mr. Morris, Miss.Costa." his words made me blush and glare at him at the same time as I moved inside his office pushing him inside in anger.

"It would be much better if you mind your manners, Mr.Morreti, or I won't mind ruining you and your business empire with a flick of my finger so be on your best behavior. It will be better for you and your company." I threatened him when he chuckled and came to stand behind me. He was so close that I could feel his body heat against my back and feel the goosebumps all over my skin.

"Threaten the person you don't need to benefit you and your hotel." Carlos whispers in my ear from behind and nibbled on it as he took my scent in "Hmmm, you still smell the same of fresh flowers. Just like I love it."

"How do you know about my hotel and how do you own this boating company because to my knowledge it Morreti family doesn't do any business without the mention of their family name on the company in bold and capital letters." I asked, "So, how come you get to own this boating company, Carlos?"

"I could ask the same, Sab. How come you get to own the largest and number one hotel chain without the mentioned name of Costa on top of the building with bold letters?" he asked back. He was about to wrap his arms around my waist from behind but I judged his next move so before he can get the chance to do that I walked forward and looked over at my shoulder with a grin on my face and winked.

"I know every move of yours, Carlos. Try something new instead because this is getting really old over here." I insulted with a cold expression as I look around his office, searching for any sign of Merem.

"Are you searching for someone, Sab? And, what's with this cold expression? The Sabrina I know wasn't like that." Carlos asked shocked and confused.

"You just knew me for one night and day, and you think you have me all figured out, huh?" I asked with a dark laugh "Well, you don't. And, if we are going to talk about some stupid things only then I will take leave because I didn't come here to flirt, gossip, or discuss our one-night stand. I came here for a business meeting regarding your ferry tour for my hotel." I begin to turn around to leave his office when he grabbed me by my arm and stopped me from leaving.

"Wait, please don't leave. We can discuss what you really came for here. Please, have a seat." he changed his tone to professional as he pointed me towards the chair in front of his desk while he went behind it and sat on his chair.

"Do you need tea or coffee, Miss Costa?" he asked formally.

"No, thank you." I declined politely while placing my hotel portfolio, map, and surrounding ocean area to begin the meeting.

"So, what do I get out of it, Miss. Costa? Because the points you are trying to prove are going to benefit you more than it is going to benefit me." Carlos asked " Even, you are proposing to change my ferry name to your hotel name. It's a win-win deal for you but not for me and I don't collaborate with the company that doesn't benefit me."

"I am paying you a hasty amount to do that so I am sure you can do that as long as I keep your pocket warm, Mr. Morreti." I stayed on my condition "You want money and I want the name of my hotel along with customer satisfaction so I think it is a win-win for both of us. If you want to proceed with the deal proposed by me then I am ready to work with you, if not then, there are several other boating companies in town than yours that will be really honored to work with me because I don't propose a deal to everyone."

"I know what you are trying to do over here, Sabrina. Do you think you are a good businesswoman and know how to conquer everything? Then, welcome because I am the Ace in this game. Trust me, you will be coming back to me to propose the deal but that time under my condition because I can assure you no other boating company will dare to work with me as long as I am in town. They know better who rules the sea over here." Carlos informed getting back on his feet and reached towards me as he held his hand forward with a cunning smile on his face.

"What does this mean?" I asked looking at his hand with an arched brow.

"It means, I am trying to show you the way out because I refuse to accept your proposed deal. Goodbye and have a nice day, Miss. Costa." he replied with an icy and arrogant tone.

"You will pay for that, Carlos! You made the biggest mistake by refusing to accept my proposed deal." I threatened getting up on my feet in anger "You just wait and watch what I have got in mind for you."

"No, you just wait and see what I have got in mind for you, Sabrina. You shouldn't have stood me up five years ago on our date when I was anxiously waiting to meet you and asking you to date me." he snapped "But, you never showed up. You are just like another one-night stand hooker who uses man for their pleasure and walks away." his words were harsh enough for me to land a slap on his face.

"You did not just do that," Carlos said with gritted teeth.

"Oh, yes I did because of one thing you should know about me. I don't like it when someone disrespects me at all." I snapped picking up my staff to leave. I was just about to step foot outside of his office when I heard him speak from behind.

"You will pay for this slap, Sabrina, and do you know how? By becoming my personal sex slave for the next three months," he shouts. I gave him a death glare and mouthed.

"Fuck you, Carlos!" I cursed and left his company in a foul mood because he made sure to ruin my mood with his sudden presence after five years of my life. Does he want a war? I will give him one. How dare he put the blame on me for the night we were supposed to meet for our first date when he was the one eating out of Merem's mouth and making out with her on the beach and he has the guts to say I stood him up? Carlos fucking Morreti. You are going to pay for this.

"Miss. Costa," I heard my drivers speak from the driver seat of my limo.

"Yes?" I asked without looking at him.

"Little master called me and ask me to tell you that he misses you and wants to talk to you. He tried calling you but your phone was out of reach. He asked me to give you a message to call him." the driver informed.

"Thank you, Harry." I thanked him with a smile as I took out my phone and called the peace, the heaven, the happiness of my life that never fails to bring a smile to my face and turn my sour mood into cheerful.

"Hey, Mom! I miss you and Did you eat something?" this was the first question my son asked me making me laugh and shake my head.

"Hello, my baby. Mommy misses you more and yes, I did eat something because I promised you, my chipmunk." I tell my son and got engaged in talking to him for the whole ride until I received a text message that almost drained the color from my face and made me shiver out of fear.

"No, this can't be! He can't be alive. This can't be." I mumbled before running out of the car in a hurry towards my presidential suite and locking myself in with trembling hands. This is impossible. He died. I watched him die with my own eyes then how could it be possible?
