They were supposed to be here by now.

Astra couldn't sit still, and Caia copied her actions although for a different reason. Astra couldn't wait to see her longtime friend while Caia was nervous to make new friends.

Uncle is nice so his children will be, she was told but her parents seemed to have forgotten their vampire parent.

Caius was laying on his parents' bed lazily playing with a twister while his father sat behind his desk reading some documents. "Dad." The boy suddenly called.

"Yes?"

"Uncle Benji is a boy right?"

"Hmm," Izan affirmed.

"And his mate is also a boy. So how did they have children? Because you know boy and boy can't have children."

"I'm sure they adopted," Izan replied and Caius nodded then he spoke again.

"How many kids do they have?"

"I already said I don't know," Izan spared his son a glance before going back to his work.

"What if they're not like me?"

The Alpha sighed in frustration. "This is why your mother doesn't answer your questions sometimes.
