The challenge

The other alphas and werewolves had been waiting outside the Round hall pacing nervously. Olivia was in tears and held Sarah close to herself, who was crying as well. Gerald hugged his family affectionately, the other two kids Elvin and Tom one each in his arm, their little hands around their father’s neck.

“Are you okay, sweetie?” He asked Sarah carefully who hadn’t uttered a word since she had returned to them. There had been a look of shock on her little face followed by tears that streamed down her pink cheeks. Sarah didn't speak but continued to sob and Gerald looked at her worriedly.

Had something shaken her to the core? Why wouldn’t she speak all of a sudden?

While he shot worried glances to his wife, an announcement rang through the hall that was audible even outside. 

“All the werewolves are to come inside for an emergency meeting right now.”
