“Where are you, hija? Can you visit me now? I prepared something for you. Ipaghahanda na rin kita ng damit mo, just incase. Bring your fiancé, too.”  Ani Abuela. Tumingin ako sa orasan, hindi naman kalayuan ang ancestral house nila rito kaya lang, baka nandoon iyong mga pinsan ko na galit sa akin. 

“Say yes,” Vernon whispered. I told him to shut up.

“Sure po. We’ll be there in a minute.” I replied. She bid goodbye and I did the same, too before ending the call.
