Chapter 01

              DAVIS

"The time has come to make sure the Onil's go into extinct. O Young Immortal Davis Sailor of the Dark Blood Sect. I, Your Lord grant you this Bloodsucking Sword and command you to go to Earth and tear up the limbs of our enemies. For the good of this kingdom." The King roared in command on his throne. His voice echoing around every corner of the throne room.

"I, Davis Sailor accepts His Majesty's command." I said with commitment as I bow down.

The wizards chanted some spells and it started to wind really hard that everyone were forced to cover their faces.

In a blink of an eye, I met myself in Earth. It really looks great. But I don't have time to admire anything than to look for targets and kill them immediately I set my sights on them.

My dressing didn't change a bit since it was the same as theirs. I kept walking around without a specific destination till I walked closer to a magnificent place. It looked like a castle.

A strong whiff of smell hit my nose and my initiative told me this is where my targets reside. So they're Royals huh?

I moved closer to the gate but was stopped by the guards there.

"Hey. Who are you and where do you think you're going?" One of the guards said.

They dare stop me? If it was in the Dark Blood Sect, no one dares to question me but they dare to? I really feel like snapping their head off their neck this instance but I kept my cool.

"Actually, The King sent for me and asked me to come over for dinner. I'm a Very Important Guest you know. Should I show you the letter he sent me?" I said pleasantly.

I only used my senses to outsmart them. I just hope my tricks doesn't bounce back to me.

"Oh My apologies My Lord. I had no idea it was you. You see, different scary things have been happening in the Palace lately so we had to keep our guards at alert. But where are your guards sire?" The other guard said subtly.

"I was honored to be invited by The King so I asked them to stay back. Now let me in!" I answered back authoritatively.

"Oh yes, My Lord!" He quivered.

I entered the Palace and headed directly to the throne room. I only followed my brains. I think the wizards already gave me a full knowledge on everything I need for this mission.

I entered the throne room and found everyone present in there. I think he's holding a banquet. Interesting!

A banquet held on a death day. It could be classified as a befitting funeral. Perfect!

"Oh hey! You arrived just in time. Get a seat and enjoy yourself General" The King grinned.

Just then, a thought occupied my mind. I can release some poison that will be diffused in the air. Once inhaled, the person passes out after thirty seconds. Just perfect! No one would suspect me. Well who cares if they do?

           ELLANDRIA

"It's a banquet for men and not for ladies. Do I seriously have to go?" I whined as I asked my nanny.

I'm not interested in going to the banquet. It's all about politics, wine and ladies. So why do I have to go? I'm not an aristocrat neither am I a drunkard.

"My Lady, you have to go. His Majesty has decided to choose a suitor for you among the Princes that would attend the banquet. You might also find a sweetheart you know" My nanny smiled as she bumped me.

I know that asking questions would only be considered a waste of energy. She's been persistent on me attending the banquet so I have no choice than to go.

"Urghhhhh. Fine. Vivian please get me the black dress that the embroidery stall brought earlier." I shrugged.

"Why a black dress. Can't you just wear something colourful and eye-catching for once?" My nanny nagged.

"You already made the decision for me to go to the banquet and I gave in. But trust me, I won't give in to you making decision on what I'm gonna wear again. Vivian, black dress!" I gave her a cold gaze like I could bore a hole into her skin.

After a while, I got dressed and walked towards the throne room. I don't know why I feel a bit uncomfortable on going to the throne room.

I also got an extra dagger and hid it carefully into my sleeve in case any Prince makes a move. I can simply threaten him with this.

I entered the throne room and got the greatest shock of my life. Everyone was on the floor with blood oozing out of their mouth and nose.

I narrowed my eyes and saw my Father on the throne with blood dripping from his nose just like others.

Tears came trickling down my face as I approached my father's corpse. I walked closer and closer and got to where he is.

I held his cold hand which seemed to be pointing at two different places. One was pointing to the exit while the other one was pointing the ceiling.

I thought that the one point to the exit represents the place the killer ran through to escape so I moved swiftly towards the exit and I luckily saw the killer running very fast.

It would be a waste of time pursuing him so I removed the dagger I brought and threw it.

The dagger hit him at the spine and seemed to slow down his speed a bit. The dagger was used for emergencies. I soaked it in Cicuta and Rhododendron water so it literally absorbed it up.

But he still seemed to keep running. He looked back but I quickly hid behind a tree. It's not about been scared of death. It's for revenge. I must live to get revenge of my family.

He who did this, would surely pay for this. Even if it costs me my life. I'm sure of this!

I ran back to the throne room and saw my Dad again and started crying and crying.

Just then, I felt a rush surging through my veins. It felt painful. I tried absorbing the pain till I couldn't take it anymore and passed out.

                 DAVIS

Damn! The dagger hurts as hell. But how and why does it pain me so much like this?

I've taken more punishment and pain without even feeling it. But here, my skin burns really hard and stings so much like hell.

I summoned a portal that transported me to the Dark Blood Realm. I got into the throne room with the dagger still at my back.

"I'm back My Lord." I said and bow.

"Well done my son. What's that at your back?" He asked in confusion.

"You'd better get the alchemist to your chamber to help you out with it. Your face looks pale which means it isn't minor. Look after yourself. You're dismissed for the day. Your rewards and others would be delivered to your chambers later." He said with urgent concern.

"Yes My Lord." I replied him and walked away.

I woke up and met myself in a different place. It was all white and saw tombs everywhere. Am I also dead?

I walked closer and saw that it was the Legendary Tomb of Past Heroes of the Human Race.

I walked closer and saw a tomb that had ONIL engraved to it. It seemed like my ancestor's. But why am I here? Wasn't it meant for men only?

Just then someone came out of it.

"You've finally arrived. It's time for you to play your part as the descendant of the Great Onil. You have to prove your worth as a royalty." The voice spoke up.

"You've been granted extraordinary abilities and you'll get your weapon soon. You've been chosen as the one to extinct the Dark Blood Sect. Do well in your mission" And then, I was back at the palace.

I didn't understand what the man was talking about. I thought all these only happened in books.

I checked the second direction where My Dad was pointing to and saw that it was like a bow. But it had no string.

I stretched my hand to get it but it flew to my hand by itself. Is this the ability they're talking about? Telekinesis?

Tears brew in my eyes again. How I wish Dad was here to witness how I unlocked my powers. That'd have been great.

Get yourself up Ella. It's not the time to cry but the time to show commitment towards the throne. I can't let this weigh me down.
