Months passed and my baby bump kept swelling. I already used my magic to conceal it so it won't be visible to others. 

I allowed only Davis to see it. We were finally in the eight month. Just one more month for me and I'll finally have a baby. I really felt happy. Is that how my mom felt when she was pregnant of me? 

At the thought of my parents and their happy faces made me Break down and ripples went through my heart.

I can't see their happy faces anymore. And that's because of one assassin. And speaking of which, it's not like I'm suspecting Davis or that, but they really have things in common. 

I mean, the way the killer ran, his hair and the scar on Davis back. It looked just like that of a dagger. Also he never tells me anything about his families or that. He only says he grew in a sect and he learnt to cultivate magic there.

I feel weird about it and like always, I only shrug the feelings off.
