Xavier's POV
I was running through the woods when I heard howling of a wolf. Voice seems filled with pain.I could smell many unknown scents from that direction.I mindlinked with my Beta, Ben.'Someone has intruded in our territory from the southern border. Come here quickly with the warriors.''Coming Alpha.' He replied.'Gray, I think we should check on it.' I mindlinked to my wolf.'Let's go.' He ran towards that direction. There was a female wolf lying on the ground, she is wounded. Several male wolves attacked her, and one of them tried to enter inside her. They are assaulting her. My blood boiled at the site.'Mate.' Gray said.'What?' I was dumbfounded.'She is our mate. Moon goddess has given us another chance to find love.' He said.'Our mate is in danger. Let's go and teach some lessons to those assholes.' I growled.'I won't leave them alive for hurting my lady.' He roared and howled loudly. She fell unconscious before I could reach her. Her body shifted back in human form. I covered her body with some leaves and mud. I couldn't think of anything better at that time.Gray jumped on the wolf, who was hovering over her. I attacked him with my claws. Then bite him, tearing his flesh with my sharp teeth. Other wolfs tried to attack on me, but I tackled everyone. Gray is furious and hunting down everyone who hurts our mate.Meanwhile, Ben came with the backup and hunted down the remaining wolves. We shifted back to our human form and wore the clothes Ben brought. I put a shirt around her unconscious figure and carried her in my arms.I took her to the pack doctor. I saw Ben waiting for me outside the ward."All the wolves are dead." Ben said."Find out who sent them." I ordered."I think this girl can provide us some information about them. We will keep her in the cell until she opens her mouth." He said, and I loud growl erupted from my chest. Gray is mad at his statement."Don't you dare to touch her." Gray is trying to take control."Pardon me, Alpha." Ben knows it well that he can mess with me but not with Gray."She is my second chance, mate. That's why Gray is being so protective and possessive about her." I said."What? Mate?" He asked with jaw dropped."Yeah." I replied casually."Bro, are you serious? Woww this is just fantastic news. You found a mate again. Congratulations. " He hugged me in excitement."Thank you. I want to know the full details regarding whoever wants to hurt my mate. It's obvious they were not rogues to attack randomly. They definitely belong to a certain pack, so someone must have sent them to harm her." I said."Xavier, don't get me wrong, but what if it's all a trap. I mean, what if she is with them and got here as a spy. I know she is your mate. But we can't take risks. We should do a background check on her." Ben suggested."I agree with you, Ben. She is my mate but I'm Alpha of this pack so I need to take all my decisions carefully. I can't judge it on an emotional basis." I said. I know Gray does not like the idea that we are being suspicious of our mate, but I can't help. I have responsibilities of the pack."I'll send her pics to our allies. Maybe someone would know her." Ben said."Go for it."I went back to the ward to check on her."Doctor, is she alright? " I asked while looking at her pale face."She fell unconscious because her wolf became weak. By observing the wounds around her wrist, it seems she was tied up tightly, and that thing had wolfsbane. That's why her wolf was weak. Along with the new and fresh wounds, there are many old wounds and marks on her body. Seems like she has been tortured for quite a long time. There are whip marks all over her back, and they seem a few days old only." Dr Fabio explained. The thought of someone torturing her and whipping her is making me insane. I can feel Gray's anger, too.'I'll kill that person. Whoever dared to hurt my mate, I won't spare them.' Gray growled inside my head.'You are not alone in this. I'll peel of skin from their body for hurting her.' I said to him."How long will it take for her to recover?" I asked."She will gain consciousness soon. But the wounds will take time to heal. I would suggest that she have proper rest. Also, one more thing, considering all the circumstances and injuries, I think it's more than just physical injury. She has been tortured. Her wolf is in pain. She might be going through trauma. I would suggest that she needs to be in a happy environment, away from any kind of stress." Fabio said."Ben wants to interrogate about the wolves who attacked her. Would it be okay if we interrogate her?" I asked."Alpha, as I told you, that stress is not good for her. So it would be better if you guys interrogate her when she is comfortable. Or when she herself wants to talk about it." He said."I'll take care of it." I said.I stayed by her side to look after her. Gray doesn't want to let her out of his sight. Nor do I.'Our mate is beautiful, right? You saw her wolf right. It's so unique. I haven't seen any female wolf like her. Her milky white furs and that silver shining on her furs. Her wolf was so big, too. As big as an Alpha wolf. There is something different about her.' Gray looked at her with an aww look.'Are you being lovey dovey now wolfie?' I teased him a little. As Gray and I were talking about her, I received a msg through mindlink.'I have got shocking information. Come to the office.' Ben said.'Coming.'I asked a nurse to look after her before leaving."What's the information?" I asked as I entered the office."She is the daughter of Aron Lenoir, the Alpha of Crystal snow pack. " He said.'Interesting, she is Alpha's daughter. ' Gray commented."That's great news." I said. But his next sentence left me shocked."She is mated to Raymond Phillips, Alpha of Black shadow. Your biggest enemy. "Hey Readers! So here we are done with the book. Thanks for all the love you guys gave to the book. Thank you so much! Love you all!
Arianna’s POV “Come on, Uncle Ben! Auntie Alice! Let’s goooooo!” Amara’s high-pitched squeal of excitement echoed through the hallway as she tugged impatiently at Ben’s hand. Her little face was lit up like it was Christmas morning, her blue eyes shining with mischief and anticipation. Ben chuckled, ruffling the soft curls on top of her head. “Hold your horses, princess. We’ve got all day.” “All dayyyy!” Amara mimicked him, bouncing on her toes as she swung their intertwined hands back and forth. “Mommy said I can get whatever I want!” Alice laughed as she slipped on her jacket. “Did she now? Well, we’re going to have a lot of fun spoiling you, then.” Amara grinned wide, already envisioning the mountains of toys and dresses she would collect. “I’m gonna get all the toys, Auntie Alice! And maybe a unicorn!” “Well, let’s see what we can find,” Alice said, smiling down at her favorite little niece, the one who had everyone in the pack wrapped around her finger. “Maybe we can
Arianna’s POV"Xavier!" I shouted, hands on my hips as I surveyed the mess in the kitchen. Flour was everywhere—on the floor, the counters, and even the ceiling, for goddess’s sake. In the center of it all stood my three-year-old daughter, Amara, her chubby cheeks smeared with frosting, holding a wooden spoon like a sword. And beside her, just as guilty, was my mate, my supposedly mature husband, Xavier, looking way too proud of himself.Amara turned to me with her big innocent eyes, the same brilliant blue as her father’s, and giggled. "Mommy, we made a cake for you!"I couldn’t help but sigh. "This looks more like a cake explosion, sweetheart.""It’s... a work in progress," Xavier said, trying to stifle his laughter as he wiped flour off his brow. "We were just... experimenting."I gave him a hard look, crossing my arms. "By 'experimenting,' you mean turning the entire kitchen into a disaster zone?"Amara beamed up at me. "Daddy says it's called 'creative freedom'!""Creative free
Xavier's POV "Look at her, Arianna," I whispered, completely in awe of the tiny figure bundled up in my arms. Our little Amara, our princess, was finally here. Her soft, pink cheeks and tiny fingers wrapped around mine, and I couldn’t believe how small and perfect she was. She looked so peaceful, her little face relaxed as she slept. Arianna smiled at me from the bed, exhaustion still evident in her eyes, but I could see the love and pride in her gaze. "She’s perfect," she murmured, her voice soft. "I can’t believe, She's finally here," Arianna finished, her voice filled with wonder. She reached out, and I carefully passed Amara into her waiting arms. Watching them together—my strong, fierce mate holding our tiny, delicate daughter—something inside me melted. "She’s everything," I said, sitting on the edge of the bed beside Arianna. "I never knew I could love someone so much, and yet here we are—with her." Arianna smiled as she gazed down at Amara, her fingers brushing o
Arianna’s POV"Xavier!" I gasped, clutching my stomach as a sharp pain rippled through me. It felt like someone had taken hold of my insides and twisted them. I stumbled against the doorway, my breaths coming in shallow pants. This wasn’t just a regular pain—this was the moment we’d been waiting for ever since the gender was revealed. Xavier rushed to my side in an instant, his eyes wide with concern. "Arianna? What’s wrong? Is it—""It’s time," I managed to breathe out, gripping his arm for support. "The baby… she’s coming."His face transformed from shock to determination in a split second. Without hesitation, he scooped me up in his arms, cradling me gently against his chest. "Hold on, love. We’re going to the hospital. I’ll make sure everything is okay."I could only nod, trying to focus on my breathing as the pain came in waves. My body felt heavy, but I knew I had to stay calm—for the baby, for Xavier, for both of us.The journey to the pack hospital felt like a blur. Xavier mo
Xavier’s POV "Xavier! Where’s my ice cream? You said you’d bring it hours ago!" Arianna’s voice echoed through the halls of the palace, a mixture of impatience and frustration lacing her words. I sighed, a smile tugging at my lips as I hurried down the corridor with a large bowl of her favorite chocolate ice cream. Pregnancy had brought out a side of Arianna that was both fierce and demanding, and yet, seeing her this way only made me love her more. She was carrying our pup—our future. The thought made my chest swell with pride. "I’m right here, love," I called out as I entered the bedroom. Arianna was sitting in bed, her swollen belly accentuating her radiant glow. Even though she looked frustrated, I could see the excitement in her eyes when she spotted the ice cream. She was a force of nature, a queen in every sense of the word, and even though her pregnancy had come with mood swings, cravings, and exhaustion, she handled it all with grace. Well, most of the time. "It’s about ti
