Zara’s POV

I glanced at Leo’s face as we walked away from the boardroom after he had a shot but clearly heated conversation with his father. I could see the tightening of his fists and the sadness in his eyes he tried so hard to bury. I wanted to speak to him about it, but I knew it wasn’t the time yet. His father might have left out of love for him, but he had every right to be angry.

My chest still ached for him because no child should ever go through what Leo went through. This made it easier for me to forgive him for not immediately telling me his true identity. Now, I could see that it was truly complicated.

Leo forced a smile when he caught me glancing at him. “Enough of this tense air. How about we go to the hospital for your checkup?” he placed his hand on my belly, “let’s make sure my baby is doing fine.”

I understood him instantly. He needed a distraction. I nodded. “Let’s go.”

The doctor smiled as I lay on my back for a scan. Leo sat by my side, holding my hand, his th

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   The Wedding of Her Dreams

Third Person POVOne Month LaterThe sun wasn’t as harsh as usual today. It cast its golden beams over the glass window of the grand cathedral, where Zara’s mother used to bring her as a little girl. She had longed for and looked forward to the day when she would be joined with the man she loves in this same place. Every detail of the venue was breathtaking for each guest who walked in. The altar stood tall, adorned with silk drapes and lilies that glowed in the light. Beneath it was Leo Armstrong, awfully handsome, standing like a knight, yet visibly nervous, as he was about to be joined with the one he loved forever. He wore a brown tuxedo with a bow tie around his neck that framed his jawline perfectly.Behind him stood Kelvin, smirking as he leaned closer to whisper in his ear. “Relax, Armstrong. You look like you’re preparing to take down Brad in a board meeting.”Leo chuckled under his breath and used his elbow to playfully hit Kelvin’s stomach. Kelvin tried to lighten his mood

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   Judgment Day

Zara’s POVA week had passed since the night on Montana Island. But the fear, the rope scars on my wrist, and the nightmares, they had not left. Today was different, though. Because today, justice would be served. The courthouse was packed with reporters, journalists, flashing cameras, and the general public. The court buzzed with murmur and curiosity until the judge walked in and the room went silent.“All rise!” the registrar’s voice instructed. We all rose to our feet and remained standing until the judge sat.“The court is now in session for the People versus Brad Wesley and Zane Wesley on the count of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, corporate fraud and embezzlement, bribery, drug trafficking, attempted rape, and multiple counts of abuse of power.Leo took my hand in mine, steadying me because he knew how much it hurt to have been a victim of those crimes.I glared heavily at Brad and Zane, seated on the right side of the court, dressed in prison uniforms an

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   The Shootout

Leo’s POVI packed my files into my bag and grabbed my suit, preparing to dash out from the office at any moment from now. I quickly glanced through my phone, and my eyes stopped at a message from Zara. I opened it curiously. “I’m on my way to the Island for the picnic. I can’t wait to see you!” Island? Picnic? What was she talking about? Immediately, a call came in. It was Zane. I hesitated but hit accept anyway. “Speak,” I spat.“I bet you’re wondering where your little damsel is right now,” his voice came through, firm and venomous. My chair screeched back as I jumped to my feet. “Where is she? Where’s Zara?!”“Slow down, knight. She’s fine for now. Oh, your child is safe too.” He chuckled.Hot fury ignited in me as his words dropped. “If you touch a strand of hair on her head, I swear to God, Zane, I would kill you myself,” I threatened, my voice hoarse.“I’m scared!” he mocked. “I’d send you the address. Come alone or else, you can say bye to your woman and child,” he said, and

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   The Trap

Brad’s POVEver since Edward returned to Wesley Group as the largest shareholder, the board had turned on me. My nerves had not known peace since I also heard that Leo was roaming the city, digging up evidence against me. I had to act quickly and now.Zane came into my office, looking confident.“Is it done?” I asked him.“You bet,” he said, handing me Edward’s phone. I was going to get rid of Leo and Zara and pin it all on Edward. That’s killing several birds with one stone in my books.“But remember, Dad. Don’t touch Zara. She is mine,” Zane warned.I nodded, but I had no plan on keeping my word. All those who dared to stand against Brad Wesley must be taken out. I smiled bitterly at his foolishness as I searched for Zara’s contact on Edward’s phone.“Zara. I have arranged something special for you and Leo. A picnic on the island. He is already there waiting for you.” I typed and hit send. The plan was to lure Leo there, then get rid of both of them. She definitely wouldn’t be abl

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   The Pieces Fall Together

Leo’s POVEdward sat stiffly beside me as I drove. The silence in the car was heavier than the air outside. He cleared his throat, finally, the sound uncertain. “Where are we going?” He muttered.“Prison.”“Prison?”I brought out my phone from my pocket. My thumb hovered over it for a moment before pressing the play button. Zane’s voice filled the car, dripping with pride and mockery. “...he thinks he can toss me away. Unfortunately for him, my prison mate, Dexter, told me how Brad killed his wife and told him to take the fall for it. I’d keep using this to tie him down…”Edward froze, his lips trembling. “It was indeed Brad. Where did you get this?”“Zara helped plant a bug in his office a long time ago. Since I heard him and Brad discuss it, I started listening to all his conversations, then I caught this,” I explained.Edward sank back into his car seat. “So we’re going to..”“Meet Dexter,” I completed the statement.****Dexter walked in moments after Edward and me got to the vi

  • The Untouchable Heiress He Regrets Losing   The Ghost Who Watched Me

Leo’s POVMy eyes widened and lips parted, but before I could say any word, Zara had disappeared. I blinked rapidly, avoiding his eyes. “What are you doing here? I’m too busy for a talk right now.”He cleared his throat. “I don’t intend to take much of your time. I only desire that you let me speak to you for a few minutes.”I remained silent and took my seat. It would be better if I heard him out and forgot about him once and for all.“Thank you,” he took his seat and began.“I know you don’t want to hear a sob story, and I am not going to give you one, but I want you to know in detail the kind of person Brad Wesley is, so you know how to defend yourself.”“Brad and I are brothers born to the same father and mother. He never took the business seriously till we became young adults. But he would always look for easier ways to complete tasks that our father gave us. Then he would get mad at me for telling on him. It went on like that till we got actual roles here in Wesley Group.”“Bra
