Chapter 54: Devious

I wake up the next morning; my throat feeling as if sandpaper had carved it's initials inside of me.

Sitting up, I look around and my eye immediately catches the tall glass of water sitting on my bedside table. I quickly grab the glass and gulp down every last bit of water from it.

"Thirsty?" I hear Luke say. I turn around and see Luke walking out of the nursery and towards me, Aaron sleeping calmly in his arms.

I chuckle awkwardly, "parched.."

He sighs disappointedly and sets Aaron down in a nearby cradle. He then walks over to me and stares down at me from above. "Have you been fucking another man?!" he speaks in harsh, quieted tone.
