19: HAFN

Kaliyah just let Ruan pull her inside the forest. It was the same forest she came from. However, this one has a path.

“Just follow me,” she heard him say, as if he knew she was thinking of asking him where he was taking her.

Kaliyah just sneered. It was really strange. However, Ruan let her hand go and with no warning, he transformed into his wolf form. His transformation to an enormous black furred wolf amazed her that she stopped on her tracks.

“Beautiful…” she unconsciously muttered, lips parted open. And Ruan might have heard it that he let out a soft growl.

Kaliyah only snapped when Ruan was already disappearing from her sight behind the trunks of trees. She run after him, but she realized that she cannot keep up if she was in human form.

“Is he challenging me right now?” she wondered, a sense of competitiveness arising deep within her.
