"Fucking mission!" Alex cussed as he tightened his boots. "Why do we need to go when we have hired people for that work!" He continued with his grumbling.

"Well you could have spoke up when you were being asked to go in the first place."

"As if that old man would listen to me!" He kicked his leg when the other boot refused to fir in properly.

"What about you Mecael?"

He frowned. "What about me?"

"Are you coming with us or no one can tell you what to do."

He checked if his gun was filled.

"It's like he wants us all to die. Sending us at that stupid club where he knows all the guards will be. Did I mention how heavily armed they will be. And who's this woman we are going to rescues?" He removed the shoes that he had already wore. He switched the pair with other ones that were way lighter.

I fastened the band around both my thighs. Today was one of those days where I just had to wear dresses. I resented such days. I tucked in my guns and knives.
