Chapter 20

"W-wait, I-I'll help y-you," Evelyn stuttered out before running back to the bathroom. She searched the bathroom counter and drawer for the first aid kit. The omega heaved a sigh of relief when she found the box in one of the drawers. 

Evelyn took a small white cotton cloth from the shelf and drenched it in water. She hurriedly took all the essentials and ran back to the bedroom. 

Keiran frustratedly tugged on his raven hair. He looked up when the omega suddenly stumbled to the room again. 

Evelyn walked towards her mate, carefully avoiding the shards of glasses on the floor. Her heart was beating in her throat as she neared the alpha. 

She sat down on her knees in front of Keiran. The omega hesitated for a moment, looking at the alpha's face to see if he was irritated but Keiran had a stoic expression painted on his face.
