The Wait For Xylan

Caspain knew his father was trying so hard just to suppress him but he made sure to disappoint him by not giving him anything to use against him.

Caspain didn’t put any mind on the wedding as he had already planned something big for the wedding and they would bever be able to suspect.

He refused his father’s call because he knew he would  want to discuss Xylan since she was already on her way.

But he had nothing to discuss with him because he warned them to stay off his issue but they were quite persistent. He has made sure to give them a shock they would never forget that would teach them to know their place.

The guard went over to tell that Caspain had refused to seek his father’s audience in front of the whole council.

“Does he even know why I was calling him?” He roared out.

He was angry not only because he tended to disgrace him and in front of the whole council this time around.

“I told him you have something important to discuss and he said he might come if he has the time. I tried to bring him.” The guard explained panicking. If there was one thing he didn’t want, it was for aggression to be transferred to him.

“Can you all see why this boy is a burden to me? He didn’t disgrace me only but all of us together. Is this the same outrageous behavior he is going to be on about when his wife gets here? I won’t let him disappoint me or ever think of disgracing me again.” Alpha Damien hurriedly stood up and was about to storm off to meet Caspian when the council stopped him.

“Don’t you think we should leave him alone for now?” A member of the council asked drawing Alpha Damien’s attention back.

“What do you mean leave him?Are you suggesting I continue to let him act like he owns the world and he can just do anything whatever he feels?” Damien retorted hoarsely.

The official who spoke still had a calm expression indicating he still stood on his suggestion.

“All I am saying is we should be happy. He didn't even argue about the marriage,he was very fair to have left quietly. And we haven’t heard anything about him rejecting her have we? So we should just leave him to be on his own because he spared us of any more trouble.” He finally concluded and the whole council nodded in agreement to his suggestion.

“Just ignore all he does till the married is over then you can yell at him all you want.” Anotehr official added.

This finally calmed Damien down and he went back to seat,he just started noticing their point and didn’t bother to meet him because it was no longer required.

Damien gestured for a nearby guard to come over and he immediately did.

“Where is Xylan now? Any news about her yet” he questioned.

“She is still on her way here master but she should be here soon. There was a slight delay from her side but it has all been settled now.” The guard said on  his knees to deliver the information:

“Okay be sure to call me as soon as you are told she’s here. I want to be the first person to see her so I can hand her over to Caspian immediately.” He said with a smile plastered at the corner of his lips.

“Okay master I would do just that.” The guard said,stood up and left back to his post.

“Well she’s almost here and I honestly can’t wait for the marriage so finally maybe when he is married he will learn to be more useful. I just hope this is able to turn him around because I never imagined my last born to be this useless to me. A female child would have been better than him.” He said out in frustration and the council netting continued.

Caspain was walking right beside the meeting room. He was less busy now and he decided to hear what his father had to say.

Instead as he approached the door he heard what he said about a female child being better than him. His expression still remained cold and unwelcoming but his heart ached.

He paused at the door and took deep breaths to calm himself down. He knew how much his dad hated him but he didn’t know it was up to this.

Then there was no need for him to see him since he already had hai mind made up. He turned and left, walking as gracefully as he could.

His steps were although slow,icy cold but were majestical.

He headed back to his room and decided he was going to do something meaningful than seeing his dad.

Caspian however had air he had to look into and decided to work on it. He picked up his phone and sent a message to someone.

> Any news yet< was the message content as he paced around his room waiting for a reply.

Soon his phone buzzed and there was a reply for him finally easing him of his tension.

>we have to meet in person to discuss this issue. It can’t be said over the phone.< the message stated and Caspain immediately felt at ease.

He just hoped they were verringert somewhere because he really needed to make sure he found out what exactly happened. Who exactly took his wolf and other information he could need.

Nothing else seemed to bother him as he had something more important he had to deal with.

He picked up his phone and started searching through his messages to see if there was anything he missed or any he had to read again to understand. With everything going on with him Xylan  and his marriage are the least of his problems.

After checking through several messages he still found out nothing. In frustration he threw his phone to the other side of his room.
