LOGINThe man standing in front of me had dark blue eyes so cold that I could feel a chill run down my spine just by looking into them. His dirty blonde hair was styled perfectly, not a single strand out of place. His cheekbones and jaw were so well structured that they looked like they were molded by himself. His straight nose wrinkled in disgust as he stared at me, and that snapped me out of my trance.
“Oh, Damian!” my mother called, her voice loud with excitement. “We were just heading to dinner.”
The man–Damian–didn’t look away from me, and his eyes were still fixed on mine as he took a handkerchief out of the breast pocket of his suit and covered his nose. I blinked rapidly at him, taking a step back, my cheeks heating in embarrassment.
Do I… do I stink? I resisted the urge to sniff myself.
“Your daughter, I see,” Damian said, his voice just as cold as his eyes. He finally looked away from me and fixed that cold gaze on my mother. “The resemblance is uncanny.”
My mother chuckled, but I heard the strain in her voice. “Not just in looks.”
His eyes narrowed on her. “I don't need to be told. The apple doesn't always fall far from the tree.”
What was going on here? The air between them was charged, as if they were in a standoff. I didn't need anybody to tell me they didn't like each other.
“Sweetheart, why don’t you introduce yourself?” my mother said, turning towards me.
I didn't want to. The look in his man’s eyes was chilling and I would rather not be standing here, and his… his pheromones were strong.
“H-hello, sir,” I said, not meeting his eyes. “I’m Kaidora.”
He said nothing, but I could still feel his eyes burning into me. Finally, “Your pheromones are unpleasant.” I stiffened, raising my head to look at him, and our eyes met and held. “Get them under control.”
He walked past me, the handkerchief still pressed to his nose, and I just stared at his back, my eyes still wide.
My pheromones were unpleasant? Was that why he was covering his nose?
My mother chuckled. “You just met Damian, the middle child. Cold, isn't he?”
But I wasn't listening to what she was saying; instead, I just sniffed myself. I’ve never been told my pheromones were unpleasant, so I didn't know what to make of that. My mother grabbed my hand and led me down the hallway.
“Come on. To dinner so that you can meet everybody.”
Nobody showed up to dinner. My mother didn't like that. She sat stiff with her cutlery clenched in both hands, staring at her plate with hard eyes.
“Now what?” I asked and she raised his head to me, smiling.
“Now, we'll try again tomorrow.”
“But I have–”
“We will try again tomorrow, Kaidora,” she snapped, her voice hard. “I agreed to give you the cash if you meet your family, and you haven't, so tomorrow.”
I dropped my fork. “Alright, then.”
I stood up and excused myself, leaving the dining room. When I was out, I released a breath, covering my shoulders with my arms crossed as I tried to find my way back to my room, but then a voice stopped me.
“That’s a lovely gown you have on.”
I flinched as I turned back and noticed a man leaning against a pillar with his arms crossed. I was so lost in my head that I walked past him without noticing.
“H-hello,” I managed, my arms still crossed over my shoulders.
He pushed off the wall and shoved his hands into his pockets, a lollipop between his lips. “Hello to you, too, Kaidora.”
Was he one of them? My family? That would explain how he knew my name without me introducing myself. He walked toward me, and I took a step back without meaning to, which just made him tilt his head in an assessing way, a glint entering his eyes.
“You look like a deer caught in a highlight,” he muttered, getting close, and then I noticed the similarities in looks between him and Damian. The same golden hair, but his was darker. The same blue eyes, but they were brighter, less cold, and more… predatory.
They were brothers. And like his brother, this man’s pheromones were just as strong. It pressed down on me, making it hard to breathe and making my head light.
This wasn't good. An omega surrounded by an alpha’s pheromones is never going to end well. We were drawn to it, even though we didn't want to. We were controlled by it, and then we lost control of our bodies and gave in to the desires awakened by the pheromones.
I had to get out of here.
I bowed my head. “It was nice meeting you. Good night, sir.”
I turned to leave, but then a strangled gasp escaped me when he caught my waist. He spun me and pressed me to the wall, trapping me with his thigh between my legs.
My eyes widened, and I struggled. “P-please, let go!”
Pheromones poured out of him in waves, and I didn't know whether he was doing it intentionally or not, but this wasn't good.
“Pardon me for the inappropriate touching,” he rasped, his voice suddenly rough. He spat out his lollipop, buried his nose into my neck and inhaled deeply, shuddering. “Fuck me…”
“S-since you know it’s inappropriate, please let me go,” I managed, pressing myself to the wall as if that would help me get away from him. My heart was beating fast against my chest, panic rising. Despite the position we were in and how compromising it was, all I could think of was my folds and how he might feel them. If he got too close, he might press into my stomach. What then? Judgement? Disgust? I wouldn't be able to deal with that. Not right now.
“I would love to,” he said, his nose still buried in my neck, and I shivered when he spoke because I could feel it on my skin.
“Th-then let go. Please.”
He raised his head, his eyes finding mine, and his bright eyes have gone dark. “I don't want to.”
“Please, sir,” I pleaded, my eyes burning. “Someone might see us.”
“Are you about to cry, lovely?” he asked in fake sympathy, pressing his lips together. “Grace me with those tears? That would be a nice sight to behold.”
“Why are you doing this to me?” I snapped, the first tear dropping. “You don't even know me.”
He raised his hand to my face and cupped my jaw, his thumb stroking my bottom lip. “True. I don't. But what I do know is that your pheromones are so intoxicating, it’s about to drive me crazy.”
Just as he said this, his pheromones became stronger, pressing down on me.
DAMIANAs soon as that question left her lips, my already spent dick slowly hardened, and when she felt it against her core, her eyes widened, but then a small smile ghosted her lips. It was a new smile, the kind I've never seen on her lips before, and the type of smile that makes my dick fully erect.“I like that,” she breathed, looking down at me with a look that can only be described as sinful. Her cheeks were rosy red, her lips parted, and I wanted so badly to kiss those plump, lush lips. “I… I like the way I'm feeling right now.”“How are you feeling right now, Kaidora?” I asked softly, aching to touch her, but she hadn't permitted me to, so my hands remained glued to the bed.She shook her head. “D-don’t call me by my name. Not now, and not until we’re done with… with this. I don't want to be Kaidora right now, because she wouldn't be doing this. Kaidora tries to stay rigid even though she’s faltering. Kaidora is still in pain. She’s still hurt and confused.” My throat tightened
I slowly got on Damian’s lap without taking my eyes off his, positioning myself in a way that trapped his dick between our bodies. He shuddered, his eyes dropping, and when he wanted to reach for me, I shook my head.“This is a punishment, remember?” I whispered. My voice sounded strange, like it was coming from someone else’s lips, but I didn't mind. Not one bit. “You can't touch me.”“Fu–” He was about to curse when he bit his tongue, and instead said, “Please.”This… this wasn't what I expected. This wasn't what I saw myself doing in the middle of the night, but I had no regrets. And as I said to him, in the morning, we would act like this never happened. This moment right here was what I didn't know I needed until now.It was thrilling: the way he pleaded in a breathy voice, the way he whimpered, and how heated his eyes were. It was all so amazing.I started moving my hips slowly, rocking myself on his lap, and I could feel my juices coating him. Every time I pushed forward, I rub
For a while, none of us said anything. None of us moved. We just stayed in the same position, her hand still on my face, our eyes glued together. And then, in a low voice, she asked, “You want me to use you?”“Yes,” I breathed. She wanted control; I wanted to give up control. She wanted to feel something; I wanted to feel nothing. It was perfect. So perfect it made my dick tighten in my pants.“Use you in what way, Damian?”I said nothing for a while, and then I grabbed her hand and slowly moved it down to where my dick was already half erect. She gasped softly, a soft red blooming on her cheeks.“Use me in this way,” I whispered, my voice hoarse. I swallowed when she just kept staring at me, hoping my nerves weren't showing on my face. I have every right to be nervous. I have never given up control before. I have never stayed back and let someone else take control over my body.I was the dom in my relationships, never the sub, but right now… I wanted to switch roles.“I-I don't know
DAMIANIt felt like I was standing in an empty well, and it was raining. It was raining so heavily, and then slowly, slowly, the water built up, and I couldn't move. I couldn't crawl out, and the water was getting up to my neck, and there was nothing more I could do but wait to drown. But… but I… I didn't want to drown. I wanted to be pulled out. I wanted help, and I wanted to be saved. But who would save me without judging? Who can make it safe enough for me to drop my guard and just breathe? Was there a person like that?“Yes,” a voice whispered. “Yes, there is, and you know it.”“Yes,” I whispered back. “Yes, I know, but she hates me. She doesn't want to see me, and she doesn't want me in her space. I know she’s kind, and she’s soft, but I can't keep exploiting that. I’m not a monster.”“Just this once. Just this once. Just this once.”Just this once: that was what was repeating in my head over and over as I made my way back home and straight to her room. I… I would make sure she k
KAIDORAI couldn't stop thinking about Skylar and Cassandra. I couldn't stop thinking about why they would cause a scene and what it had to do with me. Beg for my forgiveness? What does that even mean and why?The funeral was finally over, and I could ask the men what was going on, but then…“Damian, boo. I’m so sorry for your loss.”I watched as another woman hugged Damian, and… and something ugly creaked open in my chest, shocking me. Was this… was this jealousy? Why did it feel so bitter? And what was this urge to rip her away from him? As I kept staring at the woman, my eyebrows furrowed as I noticed something: she looked familiar. And when my eyes trailed to her high ponytail, it clicked. It was the tall lady I saw that day in the parking lot the day I went to the office. Long, smooth legs. Shiny, high blonde ponytail. Yes, it was her. And I remembered her speaking on the phone, saying something about a surprise. “Shit,” I heard Elias curse, and my frown deepened, and that was
DAMIANI hate feeling things. Not all things, but things that made my chest tight and made it hard to breathe. Things that made it hard to function like I always do. I hated things that made my throat tighten and my eyes sting.I wanted all this to be over and for things to go back to the way they used to be. I wanted to no longer feel these complicated feelings that didn't have an outlet and did nothing but suffocate me. But will things go back to the way they were? No. They won’t.The funeral progressed, and when we moved outside, it started raining. I stared up as the first raindrop hit my cheek. Another one landed, and I just closed my eyes as it rained on me until one of the bodyguards came with an umbrella, and I looked back down, sighing.I looked around, at the people dressed in black, wearing sunglasses, pretending they cared, acting like their world had been rocked, and my eyes landed on her. She stood straight, with her hands folded in front of her, looking so beautiful in
