I found the door in the back of the ballroom and I ran, rushing through the long, dark corridors, not giving a hoot about where I might end up. My life is a mess, my soul feels like it's been torn to a thousand pieces. Staying in the same space with those two conniving creants in my life might just make me go mad.
I moved away from the ballroom, walking and racing away untill I couldn't hear the orchestra playing.. my chest suddenly feels so tight, and it burned as I tried to catch my breath. I stopped my endless running as I spot a marble staircase, it looks familiar to the one the king escorted me through into his tower. I climb up through the marble staircase hoping and wishing it leads me straight to him, with every step I took darkness looms over me and my insecurities flares right back up..
