Chapter 6: Surrounded By Creatures With Sharp Fangs

Tamari Issoria’s Point of View

My friends would find it cool if they find out I am now in a place where mythical creatures exists. Honestly speaking, I have never imagined myself turning into a bloodsucker or any form of living creatures in the world. I always want to be a CEO of my own cosmetic and jewelry line but here I am, being a slave to a handsome yet annoying prince.

I bit my lower lip as the full moon was visible at the night sky. My master took me out for a night walk due to a reason he never said and here I am, agreeing on whatever he says just because he wanted it.

“Correction, I wanted it, yes. But it is also your job to follow me,” he said.

Great. He just read my mind and I freaking hate it!

“Stop reading my mind!” I hissed, a little rough but in a low tone, enough for Brixton to hear.

“You’re too loud. I can’t help it.”

My eyebrows arched. “How can I block everyone who dares to read my mind?”

My master just kept on walking. Everyone in the streets are wearing a complete medieval clothes. All their skin are pale and some of their eyes kept on glancing at us. For some reasons, I felt a little bit nervous knowing someone could attack me anytime now that I’m walking in their streets freely but with a royal.

My knees began shaking as well as my fingers. Believe me, all their eyes were drifting to my location whenever I walk and since I’m with Brixton Cardinal, I wasn’t sure if they’re just getting a little behave since I’m with him or the other way around.

“Sweetheart,” Brixton said in his normal yet husky tone. He glanced behind and urged to hold my hand. “You just turned into a vampire. Your human blood is still there and hasn’t wiped entirely in your system so everyone could still smell you. But worry not, they won’t hurt you as long as you’re with me.” I suddenly heard him spoke whilst holding my hand.

I am not sure where we are heading exactly but the thought of Brixton holding my hand kept on bugging me. His callous palms perfectly fits my small and porcelain arm. But the only thing I knew is, my master and I stopped right in front of a huge gate with bunch of bodyguards outside.

“Lord Brixton,” all of them bowed toward him.

Brixton didn’t give them his attention but his men’s eyes drifted on me. I saw how one of them gritted his teeth and ready to attack when one man ceased him from attacking me.

I jolted in shock. I held Brixton’s hand as I had my way behind him. The guard's black eyes shifted into a red one as his fangs began to become visible.

"She's my slave," Brixton enunciated with a final statement.

One of the guards bowed his head. "I'm sorry for my men's indecisive move. It will not happen again."

The enormous door opened and my jaw dropped seeing how big the house inside was. Just like in Korean movies, it was as if some sort of kingdoms but in his case, it was built like a castle.

"Where is this place?" I muttered whilst roaming my eyes around.

The whole town earlier might be filled with eerie and creepy vampires but the whole town itself didn't failed me. Just like what I've seen, the whole place has been given by a light but instead of electricity, candles are all over by the mansion intact in the middle.

My self-made Master strode inside. He began taking off his coat as we enter and a man standing six feet and seven inches showed up.

"Did you tell Suzy to prepare for an extra room?" Brixton said in a low baritone yet firm voice.

The man spoke. "Yes, Master Brix."

Upon our arrival, a group of ladies came out from the dark and it was behind the huge staircase in front of us. It was huge… probably in the style where people couldn't imagine. The stairs might be designed by a famous architect and for some reasons, his style amused me.

A woman wearing a black long sleeves with a white dress-like suppressing the dark cloth greeted me with cold stares. She has this well-developed hairstyle whilst her lips has been painted by black and her skin was pale as ice.

"She will be my new slave, Suzy," Brixton said in a firm way.

The woman who was named Suzy arched her eyebrows. "She was a human. I could still smell her human blood. She's dangerous, Master Brix."

Suzy was about to attack me when Brixton seized her from making a move. "She's harmless and under my control. Rest assured she won't run wild unlike others." I know it was a whisper but I managed to hear it.

Well, maybe my skills as a vampire began developing?

Suzy smirked at me whilst staring at my face for quite some time. She chewed hard and clenched her jaw before glancing back at Brixton.

"Well, then, young lady Issoria, welcome to the humb home of my Master Brixton Cardinal."

H-Humble home?

"You comprehended it right. This mansion served as the house of my Master, the crown prince. He stays here often except at the castle where he grew up."

I side-eyed Brix but he was busy removing his clothes one by one. Suzy, who seemed to be the head maid in his humble abode, smirked at me. She doesn't seem old as if she was in her forties. Her physical appearance resembles a young Chinese woman. She has these chinky and smokey eyes. Her long straight hair completely caught my attention.

Brixton held my hand the moment he strode toward me whilst I was gripping on to the dress I was wearing. Suzy bowed her head along with the man who greeted us earlier.

I was just quietly following him until we ended up inside a spacious room. The curtains are down whilst there was a small fireplace at the right side. The whole room we entered contains a bunch of dark colors such as red, brown, black and some pastel colors that entirely makes you believe that it was really meant for a medieval style era not to mention how the bed has been structured.

He went to the side table where a glass was intact as well as a bottle of wine. Brixton poured a small portion of alcohol on it before drinking it straight.

"Brix…" I mumbled in such curiosity.

"Master Brix," he corrected right after he sat down on his one seat person's sofa.

His scorching eyes drifted on to me. In a deliberate moment, I strode toward him with a worried tone and expression.

"Let's talk," he enunciated with a stern voice. "Sit." He then held his lap with his callous palms.

I took a deep breath and was about to walk away and sit across him when Brixton seized me.

"Where do you think you're going?" he mumbled annoyingly whilst his eyebrows shot up.

"To sit a-across you?"

Brixton closed his eyes in an annoyed way. He put his hands on his temple and after a couple of seconds, he opened his round pupils and then glanced back at me. He then patted his lap, giving me those dirty stares before speaking as I bit my lower lip upon realizing what he just meant.

"Sit on my lap."
