Dante's POV

I was walking through the woods. I knew I was in a flashback. I had those where I remembered things from the past that I had forgotten. The past my kind had somehow refused to remember.

I'd see a blond man walk away. I never saw his face just the back of his hair. I didn't know who he was but over time I'd figured maybe he was my Sire from the times I couldn't remember.

I watched him walk off and then different images flashed before my eyes like normal. I let the flow. This was my most recent gift. It was a gift to me because I could remember pieces of my past.

It was something I'd always wanted and this gift gave it to me. I was always trying to cultivate it by letting it pass through. Letting it happen.

Maybe one day I'd have a full memory of my past.

A new image flashed into my eyes.

Was this a new image to add to my collection of memories?

I looked greedily and noticed immediately that this wasn't the past. This looked more like modern times.

I feel so bad for Dante . Christopher nearly dying has made him so afraid of losing him . Atleast his has Athena to talk . I only hope he takes her advice . Dante will definitely protect Christopher at all cost .. Dante is crazy obsessive but I totally understand his love for Christopher ......️
