Chapter 41 : Curiosity kills the damsel

Sitting in front of the mirror, Rosa’s eyes were still glued to the dark fingerprints of Armand’s hand around her neck. It felt a little tender when she tried to touch it and her mind keeps on bringing her back to the time it happen. She couldn’t shed any more tears seeing she had cried herself to sleep for 2 days straight.

She refuse to eat, all she did was lie on her bed and avoid everyone that came into her room. Vadim had stayed with her and made sure she was okay. She kinda liked that but once when she heard him brag that she had chosen him over Armand, hence the bruises – she kicked him out of the room after threatening him that she will kill herself.

Nevertheless, it wasn’t the pain in her neck that made her teary eye again, it was the expression on Armand’s face that made her unable to sleep well. The dark circles around her eyes were the best evidence of how Armand disappointed response to her staying that broke her heart.
